(I hope this is random enough sweatdrop ) *oh and get ready for my ranting*

In some of my classes, I often see a few people commenting about Fullmetal Alchemist. This is a bit weird because they don't look like the types to like anime. (except this one guy who talks about 4chan and yaoi on my bus from my geometry class in high school to all my other classes in middle school -_-") I've also seen this one guy reading the manga (I was tempted to lean over and read it too, but I didn't want to do it xD)

There was also another girl that had an FMA keychain on her backpack when I was walking down the halls O.o come to think of it, fullmetal alchemist is spreading like a disease (after almost 3 when it was finished in the english dub though .__. )

I also had people commenting on my fangirlishness of the series, because they knew what I was talking about (compared to the 70% of people who don't even know what anime is.)
In my technology class,we have to do slideshow on the labs we just did. I was doing garage band, and the last slide was supposed to be how it was used in other cultures. I immediately put how in Japan, songs can be cut and edited to put in anime. I put a picture of Asian Kung Fu Generation and a picture of Fullmetal Alchemist beside it (cuz they sing for the anime) and then there was this fanboy asking if I liked that show. (they were shocked since I'm so meek in real life, so ppl just guess about my interests)

So, back to the question, have you seen instances of fma fandom? Or what did you do to express your fandom?

Lolz as long as it doesn't fit into the other subforums, it doesn't matter what in the world you put here; just has to be Fma related. sweatdrop

Lolz I get people in my school asking me "what a Fma is." -_-" I've been through the speech SO MUCH. And then I get asked who the robot is. D<

So....I could only talk about me. sweatdrop Since I don't know anybody else in real life who's into Fma... -_- Here's a handy-dandy list of stuff I do:

-Wear my Fma necklace every day (it's a chain w/ 2 charms on it; one's a chibi armor al head and one's al from the movie)
-Walk around with either my Chibi Al Head pillow or my homemade Al plushie (when I'm not in school or course lolz)
-There are Fma stickers all over my folders, notebooks, and my planner.
-Sometimes, I would attach my Ed plushie (since he gots a string on his head LOZ) to my bag (tokidoki handbag, not in school)

As usual, I might have forgotten something...I always do... O_o"

Lol that's cool. I wish I had a color printer or anything to decorate my binder. (We don't own a printer, so when I want to print things out, my dad goes to his college where he teaches and it can only be in black and white.)
I did also make a website on the server where our school is a part of, I just updated it today and got a comment of "......" for it. mad It seems that no one likes me getting geeky.

I wish my color printer wasn't out of ink. O_o" I'm so happy this store near me sells Fma stickers... O_o"
And everybody at my school knows I'm an anime nut and a goth, and they just leave it like that. Because I always get remarks about how I'm the only different one.

Like, everyone knows now I like Fma because I make it that obvious.

And I know another way I show my fandom. Whenever anybody calls Al a robot, I instinctly flame up on them. If that isn't fandom, I don't know what is lolz.

This one guy knows that I like FMA, but he did the dumbest thing. He likes to freak some people out (he does that to me occasionally like this one pervy thing he did with his calculator -_-) so he said: "Hey, look at this!" So I did what he said and he showed me an Elricest picture. I almost screamed and he laughed at the reaction on my face.

OMFG I HATE ELRICEST burning_eyes
*coughs* Umm I mean, that's pretty horrible, what he did...
*sighs* Well no one's really into Fma where I am. I mean people I know, anyway. -_- That's why I started this guild...

OH YEAH! I know another way I show my fandom and stuff. I just bought this huge colorful Fma guy shirt and I wore it like a kimono shirt to school today.

I can't believe what I just saw today -_- I typed in Alphonse in the photobucket search and a whole gallery of mentally disturbing pics of him and Edward came up (Elricest is spreading Dx)

When I'm bored and it's outdoor recess in my school, I go to the wall, clap my hands and then press them to the wall. My friends are like, "...what are you doing..." and I'm like, "...nothing..." and my friend (we just came up w/ this yesterday: she's 1 out of 2 otaku in the school, the other is me) was like, "...are you trying to do alchemy?" and then I go, "...MAYBE."

(Wow, nobody posted in here for a while...hello...)
okay, well anyway, I do the same stuff.

In science, our teacher was showing us a new formula, and I was 'taking notes' (aka drawing transmutation circles and chibi Al heads) and she says "see, F=MA" Needless to say, my head shot up and I screamed. My teacher was like, uhh, are you okay, need to go to the nurse?... cuz I'm timid and 'shy' most of the time. I did the same thing for the law of conservation of mass.

I've got a bunch of others, like people were afraid of my locker cuz its wallpapered with pictures of Al, and running around 6flags with my friend clapping and screaming FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, DUAL SYMPATHY and having people stare at us as we try to explain...wow, I really ranted on...

Hahaha. . . . I have a friend who is so fangirlish ((cough, Shadowpurple cough)) She joined a bunch of FMA RPs. . . . . and she actually forced me to start reading FMA too. . . . . *sigh* Now I'm addicted. . . . . . . .

Wish I could do alchemy. I tried to draw the ice-circle thingyajig but it looked ugly and nothing like a circle. . . *sigh*

    Oh, lol!

Once a month, me and my friends (girls and guys, mind you) would scream and rant early in the morning, usually because of the latest FMA manga chapter. Hahaha! XD That happens every month. Around.. the 10th-15th of every month. XD

And to just irk each other, when we're bored and arguing about random stuff, we have this tendency to "snap" our fingers. Haha. --pretending to be Roy and such.

Oh, there was this one time that me and my friends were talking about FMA, then one of our classmates--who absolutely loves K-pop, and doesn't seem to be an anime-watcher or whatever--suddenly comes up to us and asks, "What are you talking about?" And we say, "Uh... FMA." "FMA?" "Fullmetal Alchemist." "Oh, that. Hmm. Did he get his body back? The fullmetal buckethead?" HAHA. We were laughing our asses off in the classroom. (It was recess).

And whenever the class gets boring, I start drawing FMA chibis on the back of my notebooks. XDDD

Oh, and I have a clipboard, and it's filled with FMA stuff. Haha. I've got stickers of Royai everywhere, and then like, three papers full of FMA quotes. XD

I was reading one of the novels in my Spanish class once. This underclassmen was staring at me. So I was in my FMA mode(a time when i have a tendency to glare at people sweatdrop ) I asked him if something was wrong and... I think I scared him... But he finally said something along the lines of,"Fullmetal Alchemist is an awesome manga, right?" I. Was. Shocked! He looked like he knew nothing about anime or manga at all! ...Can't judge a book but its cover it seems... BTW he comments on the manga I bring now which is okay i guess...(Until he calls something I love bad I guess...) Also on some Mondays I go to school with my Edward plushie. Everyone probably thinks I'm loony by now. Thats their problem. I'm just being random me! biggrin

I don't know many people who even know what FMA is. Or they know it but don't really like it like I do.

But I remember I went to the mall in my Ed jakcet, and these two girls ran up to us and asked if they could follow us around and film us. So we let them, and now I have a new cosplay buddy.

Oh and I sometimes carry my pocketwatch around, and when people are like "Whats the chain coming from your pocket?" I get to be all cool and show them.
Then they normally ask what the crest is...
