His most famous works are the Artemis Fowl books, which we have a thread for here.
This thread is for his other books.
The Wish List
The Supernaturalist
Half-Moon Investigations
Airman
and...I think he has two books for very young children, too. smile

The Wish List was clever with St. Peter and Beezlebub having an effective work-relationship. The Supernaturalist had a surprise twist with the ending. They were both okay, but I didn't like them enough to read them a second time.
Half-Moon Investigations was really cool! It's about a twelve year-old that wants to be a detective and solves "crimes" for the kids in his school. A real (and dangerous) crime winds up happening in town and he works with the local teenage delinquent to solve it even though the adults tell him to stay out of it. I enjoyed how the characters acted the way that I remember preteens truly behaving.
Airman was much darker than any of Colfer's other books. The harshness surprised me quite a bit when I read itespecially everything that goes on in prison, but I loved it, of course! The plot was complex and Colfer's standard wit was in it. It's probably my favourite of his works aside from the Arty series. I recommend it to Colfer fans since it's interesting to see him write some dark, realistic fiction rather than fun fantasy.

It's actually Eoin. Not Eoir. And I personally pronounce that "ee"-"in". It's the original spelling of the phonetic pronunciation of the name Ian.

Oops, Matelia is right. I spelled his first name wrong. redface *fixes it* I think it's because when I was younger I used to pretend his first name was Eeyore, like from Winnie the Pooh, because I never knew how to say it. lol sweatdrop

lol. Eeyore. That's classic. I always thought his name was pronounces Owen. Oh well. Now I know.
The only other Colfer book I've read besides the Arty series was the Supernaturalist. OMG!! Amazing. I love his work. It always takes you were you least expect it to. He has a wonderful way of incorperating the cliche' with the unexpected.

*blush* I haven't read anything other than the Artemis books. Came close with Airman, but it didn't hook me. I had to put it down. *double blush*
