I'm done with snow! I don't want anymore! I enjoy being able to go out in just pants and a shirt, none of this hats and mitts bullshit. And getting kids ready just to go to the store is a chore and a half! Also I just bought sued (******** up spelling...) shoes. I got a super deal on them, normally they were $64, I got them for $18! eek

Well the last few days have really said "spring is here". What with the birds everywhere and the grass and trees changing color. Then it snowed this morning! XD
I agree I love the way snow makes everything look so clean and peaceful and pretty. And yes I realize dealing with the cold and with snow can be a pain. ...But it's so pretty.
Also Vancouver Canada rarely gets snow. It rains instead. So not all of Canada freezes over.

Lol. Poor Kandii. Posting a snow thread at the -end- of winter... When everyone's had more than they can handle as it is.
I'm with you, personally. I don't get to see much here in the South, so I get pretty happy when it decides to pay us a little visit. We never get much more than an inch or so, but that's enough sometimes.

Pfft, I've got it made. anytime I want to see anything similar to snow, I go to White Sands National Monument. I live pretty close to it.

yeah, snow is pretty cool. I'm kind of sick of it right since we had two weeks of two feet of snow before christmas. usually we only get an 2-6 inches when it snows, so that was a little too much. confused

I have a wonderfully romantic idea of the snow but if we ever get it then I start to realise that its not all that fantastic afterall. Most of the fun is the novelty of it (we get proper snow maybe once every two years).
Also, dry snow is the only good kind of snow razz

You can have our snow, then. stare
I'm sick and tired of dealing with the cold and wet, and having difficulty getting around because of piles of snow that turn into solid ice. I am sick of plows keeping me awake all night. I am sick of snow tracking into the apartment and making a mess.
I am tired of winter, period. Bring on summer.

I'm with Tae. I hate winter. I only find snow pretty around holiday time because it does make everything beautiful...for a while. Then you get into the rest of winter where everything is grey and dead and depressing. I think Lewis Black said it best:
Normally, in February, in Boston and in most of the country, the weather is gray, rainy, gray, sleet, gray, rain, gray, sleet, snow, gray; every day it just gets grayer and grayer and grayer! You wake up one day, and you go, 'I'm not comin' into work today!' Your boss goes, 'Why not? You sick?' 'No! It's too gray!' Then you wake up and it's the grayest day you've ever seen! And the next day, it's even grayer! And that's usually Valentine's Day, and that's the day you look at your wrists and go, 'Hey, maybe I should slit 'em to see color!'
