*He calmly gets up and moves towards his door. When he sees the hiding shadow, his tentacles lash out and wrap the intruder in a vicegrip, pulling them inside*
Who are you, and what are you doing in here?

I would think a void mage as powerful as you would have help to do that task, says the cat, jumping up to his desk. Very carefully he avoid the paperwork and finds a small empty spot to sit in. He cocls his head to one side and sighs. They don't want me on the ship right now either.

I can't trust anyone with these, putty-tat. Do you know what a Voidmage's job is? I'm not called soul-warden for nothing...my realm is the passage that souls take on their jouney towards the afterlives. My job is to help sheperd them the right way, and to keep track of how many go where at any one time, with percentages from each world...there is a balance, called the Homeostasis, that I must strive to hold.
Obviously I can't trust anyone else with this jo...*Snaps out his tentacles and reels in another intruder*
