"Lyssan, Tessie, and Austin...would you please come up on deck near the helm for a moment, please," Comes Kero's whispering voice..."There is something I need to show you.
When the trio arrives, they find Kero silently turning a stone in his hand, studying it...the stone is strange, perfectly polished, as if it had been removed from the pommel of a sword. Strangely, there is an awareness about it, and it seems to be actively and futiley trying to burn the Voidmage. Upon seeing the arrivals, Kero puts the stone into one of the interior pockets of his robe.
"Excellent...I have something I need to reveal to you all...but only when all three of you are here...the stone can only compel me to reveal my secrets," He tells them, "In the meantime, what do you two know of Copper and Gold dragons?"

aye gold dragons the second largest of all metallic dragons the most lawful to
copper's however...they are also friendly yet smaller...
each of there breaths are different as well the copper breath slows things for short periods while the golds rends the target harmless.

funny you should ask... one of my best friends is a copper dragon... no bigger trickster can be found... they incorrigible you know... always up for a good joke...
now gold dragons are heroic to a fault... goody two shoes... not that i mind, they are extremely loyal and tend to shift to human form more thanothers why?

What do you think would happen if they interbred...what would the offspring be like, both in personality, phsyical form, and breath weapons.
And Golds can also Breathe Fire, while Coppers spit Acid, BTW.

well... i've heard of silvers and gold pairing off... the dragonlings are either one or the other then... maybe it's the precious metals or something else... but there's no such thing as a hybrid gold or silver... and i've heard of bronze and brass making a go of it, too... but somehow coppers always tended to stick to themselves... personally i think golds could use a little humor in their natures and if anything pairing off with a copper would bring that into the line... physically they be gold... but probably smaller... and as for their breath weapons... a very hot acid... that breath weapon of the coppers is a doozy... fire cleanses but i can't see breeding the acid out

Perhaps this would help clear things up...*Hands them a scale like Gold, save that it seems duller, a shade of copper overlying the sparkling metal*

But you're wrong about one thing...the breaths don't combine. The hybrid simply has both, at lesser degrees of power. *Takes out the sky blue stone, which is still trying to burn him, and studies it some more*
