It's a trilogy by Marianne Curley. The books are:
The Named
The Dark
The Key

The basic summary of the series is:
Human Guardians (most, but not all, are teenagers) with two different psychic powers apiece go back in time to prevent the Order of Chaos from changing history. The Guardians of Time and the Order of Chaos are run by fueding immortal siblings. There's a prophecy that says the war between the groups will soon be at its climax. One of the Guardians will be found out as a traitor and a different Guardian will die.

The stories are written in a young adult style, so it was easy for me to peruse all three books in four days. They're also in first person. The chapters within each novel alternate between the point of view of two different characters. Each time a new book in the series begins, two new characters take over the narration.

My likes and dislike about it:
The Named is my favourite book in the set because we see Ethan's point of view, and he is definitely the character that I like best in the series! heart Even though he can be emotional due to his traumatic childhood, I trusted his judgement so much that I knew who the traitor was from the beginning. I hate Ethan's love interest; she's a B-with-an-Itch that doesn't deserve his affection at all. evil

The Dark is my second favourite book because we see my second favourite character's perspective. Arkarian is Ethan's mentor that looks like an anime character with purple eyes and blue hair! rofl Arkarian is incredibly wise and gentle. 4laugh

I suppose Isabella would be my third favourite character. She's much more useful and friendly than her self-pitying older brother. Matt gets on my nerves SOOO much; I wish he'd stop complaining! stressed

Anyway, the books are exciting, interesting quick reads with fun characters. I recommend them to everyone!!! biggrin
