Today... Well actually tonights question to you is:
How do you deal with insomnia?
It is 3:23am, at least over here and I can not sleep. I actually have not slept yesterday either.

Oh, God, I hate that... rolleyes Well, sometimes I just toss and turn, getting impatient and annoyed, I throw stuff at the wall, and I growl just soft enough not to wake up my mom... But sometimes, I just lay there, letting my mind wander until I fall asleep, and other times, I listen to music until I fall asleep. (and, oddly, I can't fall asleep to soft music, it has to be heavy)
Those are the ways I deal with it. 3nodding mrgreen ninja

At night when I can't sleep I try to do something productive like reading or writing on laptop. I sometimes watch DVDs or play nintendo at 1 am but that's about it.

I love how you title your threads.
Well, sometimes I just lye in bed...sitting there....other times I'll listen to music, watch a movie, read, or draw. Sometimes I'll write something or do some work...that's pretty much it.

I couldn't sleep last night either....well, can laying in bed for five hours with your eyes closed count as sleeping?

Try to get things done as I have a long internal debate on whether or not to take sleep medication. I have one, but it works best if I haven't taken it recently, so it's kinda a choice between "sleep today or sleep next week".

oh so Extravagant... I hate insomnia. I'm basically nocturnal but school and such doesn't allow me to sleep all day and stay up all night. It sucks. I usually make myself some chamomile tea and watch a movie with the lights off. Or I read until I pass out.

Try meditating? Helped me a lot, even if I didn't sleep, I felt rather rested.
