i'm doing a solo thing for solo and ensemble and i need some quick help
if its 6/8 time
and there are a 6 16th notes that look like a six tuplet
do u play it like a six tuplet
count it like 1&2&3&

I believe so. But 6/8 is easy.
Try 9/8.

Could think of it like 3/4 but every & is a beat.

Unless it has a 6 above it it's just sixteenth notes. 1&2&3&.

Lol. You may hate 6/8
But trust me...it is absolutely NOTHING compared to 15/16...
And yes it exists... As does 28/32. Welcome to the world of REAL music. xD

Could be worse, you know. My freshman year in high school, a large portion of our show was in 6/8 and we marched it all in 4.

Ahh, I remember doing 6/8 time. Now, I'm stuck in a piece that flips from 5/8 to 7/8 every other measure. *slams head repeatedly against a brick*

I love 6/8. It's what waltzes use and i love doing colorguard to 6/8 because i feel so much more graceful

I am playing 12/8 time right now in my solo piece. xD
If conducting like 4/4 each down in out up stroke is three numbers. xD

my favorite is 11/8.. 6/8 is as easy to me as 4/4

well i figured it out but now the drumline music is in 7/8 and tha IS FUN!

Thats how I count it if it is conducted like 3/4
Our song is in 12/8 confused
