captain comes running in so fast she bounces off the center island....
"wha.... wha... whats wrong?" she gasps as she gathers herself up off the floor.

Lyssan captain comes running in so fast she bounces off the center island.... "wha.... wha... whats wrong?" she gasps as she gathers herself up off the floor. *Captain finds herself grasped by a tentacle and gently seated in a chair as another tentacle slides a bowl of hot broth filled with meat and vegetables towards her. Another tentacle slips past and dumps a cup of rice into her bowl* Nothing is truly wrong, Captain, except Austin and the others are late for supper. I make two huge pots of Gumbo, and no-one comes to eat. There are other suprises in this feast too. Wish everyone would hurry up.

The racket, Austin, is that you and the rest of the crew are late for supper.
*tentacles slide a bowl of gumbo to you as well*
Seafood gumbo in the cast iron kettle, Chicken/Sausage in the Pot over the coals.
Dessert is not until later. I'm still making it.
*You notice that his tentacles are all you see. He is busy working dough on the counter near the oven*

ahhh... mage this gumbo is to die for... i feel as though i'm home... i thank thee for such a marvelous repast.
the captain savors each bite and urges her vice captain to do the same biggrin
this food is great, austin, try it....
