I'm a complete idiot. Been on gaia almost 4 years and I fell for it.
Got a PM (1st thing I should have realized was that the name wasn't orange) saying Gaia was beta testing a linking system between mules to make trades more convenient.
Short version: I ended up giving my PW for 3 mules, with millions of gold worth of items. I screwed up, don't badger me, I know I'm stupid, gave my PW when gaia never asks for them (but it seemed logical to need to know if the mule accounts were really mine, but again, there's other ways to do that without putting in my PW and I'm dumb).
So this is a warning to other people.
Uhm...
Discuss: have you encountered this scam yet? (I don't know, I really don't care about the discussion parts)
again: Don't give me "gaia never asks for PW's" I alreaady friggen know and have been beating myself up over this all yesterday, last night, and now and probably for the next week.

Clarification:
Scam not hack Waku
as for the scam:
Yep seen it and told em to piss off followed by reporting them.
Proceeded with me going to the site and logging in with:
Username- youfu

Yeah. The best thing to do at this point would be to report the scam situation. It might take a while but you could probably salvage some things from it.

Yes, of course I've reported them. You're silly. The account CANCELLED TRADE has 2 of the items that were taken for me equipped so I reported that person too for them to look into (account was created recently).

You can also look back into your Completed Trades for those mules and see just who got what of your stuff. The other thing that you might be able to do is check your PMs and see if they put anything in the market. Hope you get your stuff back. *hugs* Really sucks sometimes. Let's try to raise another one ^_^

Kusaragi You can also look back into your Completed Trades for those mules and see just who got what of your stuff. The other thing that you might be able to do is check your PMs and see if they put anything in the market. Hope you get your stuff back. *hugs* Really sucks sometimes. Let's try to raise another one ^_^
You can look up someone elses completed trades? Do you mean sales in the MP? One of my friends saw an account trying to sell 2 of the items that were taken, and then they took it down and just wore them. And the account is only a few days old.

It's since been resolved, but you never know. Note- It was a completely unrelated incident to this. I have no idea how someone caught my mule's PW.

Yeah, my mule got hacked into once before as well. Never gave out my PW but it happened soon after buying things in the MP. I hardly ever did anything on that account and the one time I use the MP, it gets hacked.
I wish I could understand how these people think it's okay/fun to do this.

stare I was hacked one time... not scammed... The thing about scamming is that in the end you realize you made an oops AND you lost your junk. Sorry that happened to you. I'll be happy to help any way I can.

You know, I've never once gotten anything like that. I guess I'm not rich enough which is fine by me. GTR gets them all the time though, he also gets s**t loads of beggars.
