Hello, ATG!
I've been missing for a very long time, and in an attempt to resurrect myself, I am holding a contest.
To enter:
Record a 5-10 minute segment for the ATG Talk Show.
Submit your entry via email to kalstolyn at gmail.com
The most interesting segment received will win an MC letter from October 2007.
The top 45 minutes of material will be put together to create an all-new ATG Talk Show episode!
Your segment can be anything that more or less follows Gaia's TOS. Some ideas include:
Infomercials
Editorials
Comedy sketches
News reports (serious or sarcastic)
Skype interviews with other ATG members
Original music that you and your buddies wrote and played yourself (no breaking copywright laws!)
Whatever else you can think of!
The deadline for submissions is June 30.
Winner will be decided by popular vote in this thread and announced on July 15.
By entering this contest, you give me the right to use your material in ANY future Talk Show episodes or promotional material for The ATG Talk Show..
Please be sure to include your Gaia name in your submission email!

If I lived closer to you, I'd do it. But I've no head for questions, nor am I anywhere near you. And editing is a bit beyond my capabilities, so even if we had a hardcopy version of the interview, I wouldn't be able to get both sides into one file due to my own inability. Sorry, Omni...

That would be the hardcopy version I was talking about. We would each record our half of the conversation, and then someone with splicing skills would mix the audio files into a nice, cohesive interview. I can't do it, since I lack the ability... And I would have to throw up a questionnaire for you. I am not usually a very inquisitive person, though I would make an effort.

You could always have people submit questions to you and then you read and answer them yourself if Erv can't do it or anyone else.

Yeah but then it would be my entry . edit: meh. I doubt a comedy, editorial or zomg guide would be better. Might as well go for it.
