Hello, within the next few days I'll be posting fun ideas and recipies revolving on the Japanese culture and how they celebrate the New Year.

Um for my New Year...we do absolutely nothing! sad
My parents usually go to bed and my brother and I stay up.
I hope this year will be different..

この正月に、まずお夕食をたべて、おいしいものでおなかがいっぱいなりました。
夜中で縁側から近くの池の花火大会を見ることができました。とても美しいでした。
In this New Year, first we had dinner, I got very full with delicious stuff. At midnight we could see the near lake's fireworks display from the balcony. It was very beautiful. ^^
