I am currently panicked. Because, I am babysitting my best friend's little brother, and was supposed to get him off to school. I did so. But, about when he was supposed to be getting to school, his school called. I didn't answer it, and they didn't leave a message on the answering machine. I was a little scared, but figured it was nothing. Then, about five or ten minutes later, they called again, I didn't answer again, and they didn't leave a message again. What if he got there, but is sick? What if he didn't get there? I heard some commotion or some kind in the doorway just as he was leaving, what if he was kidnapped or something? I don't know what to do, if anyone is here right now, please help me, asap. ;-;

If they didn't leave a message... D:
You might want to try calling the school to see what's up first, but... They didn't leave a message, so I'm not sure how important the call would be, right? My school always leaves a message. sweatdrop

Yeah, that's what I thought, 'cause if it was really 'why isn't he here?' or 'come get him, he's sick', they would probably leave a message.. Just in case, I just called my parents to help me.. so they're going to be here in a few minutes. Oh! And the school probably has his parents' work numbers, so they probably would have called them, and then they probably would have called me..

Okay, all is fine. He just forgot candy he was supposed to take to school today, and so it was him who was calling. Pheeeew..

Probably the same reason I wouldn't answer the phone if I wasn't in my own home? I'm just guessing of course, but I wouldn't answer the phone if I were babysitting in a house that wasn't my own... unless it was the parent's calling from where they are/or from their cell.

Exactly what Romi said. Unless I know it's for me, I won't answer someone else's phone. And not to mention, the second time, I was in the bathroom anyway. Not easy to answer a phone when you're in a bathroom.
