So I was talking about Hanukkah yesterday and was very excited and was planning to make/get some chocolates, dreidels, and challah for work tomorrow. As I went to the bakeries around here looking for challah (and as I went to the other shops for the other respective things) I realised there was a severe lack of bulk olive oil, challah, chocolate geit, and other Hanukkah related things. That's when I noticed that on one of the small signs, next to one of the bakeries, said "Hanukkah December 21-29." And I already had the workplace decorated with related things too.

The discussion "Let's discuss Linny's failure" or "Have you ever been a week (or more) ahead of schedule in a bad way" is not implied by the post? O.o

I couldn't figure it out.
A week early didn't exactly seem like a failure to me. Christmas stuff happens in NOVEMBER.

I once dreamed that I was sleeping. Then my alarm went off in my dream, and I got up and got ready for school. I looked at my clock before I started to leave and realized that I was ready to leave for school three hours early. XD -O=O- Less than two days left:

But... it was though. It was all ready to celebrate first day of Hanukkah, and I have flour ready at home (or something) to make treats for eight nights!
Also, we already opened presents (Hanukkah was our excuse). I got a Diamond-Pearl Pokedex for my holiday gift.

It's not particularly useful (since the Nintendo DS Pokedex works just fine, if not better) but it's definitely a status of geekdom.
All the pre-pubescent boys are jealous.

Jaft I couldn't figure it out. A week early didn't exactly seem like a failure to me. Christmas stuff happens in NOVEMBER. The local Wal-Mart had their Christmas decorations out November 1... @Lin — "Pre-pubescent"?! I'm jealous!

O.O *Is jealous* That's awesome, I want a Pokedex. xd I remember the commercials for the original one. Kids were asking this one kid about Pokemon, and he'd sneak a look at his Pokedex and answer the question as though he'd memorized everything about Pokemon. lol Wiseass!
Anywho, yeah since there's an overabundance of Christmas related things as early as November, I've become used to seeing holiday stuff well before the designated holiday. Better to be too early than too late right?
