By the way, my favorite Flash is Bart Allen, to elaborate I liked him way more before he took on the title of the Flash. blaugh

Well the first thing I started reading when I was younger was Young Justice so I was always a fan of Impulse and then when they moved to the Teen Titans, I loved him as Kid Flash, so naturally when he became The Flash during Infinite Crisis, I loved him.

It truely makes me sad that he was the shortest lived one. What was it? Only a 13 issue run before he was murdered. I was hoping he would be long lived but ya know how they do. Flashes have to die.

I loved Bart because of his crazy style, his impulsive nature and his childish actions at times. The jump between Impulse and Kid Flash was one of the most well-deserved character transformations I've ever seen.

Wally West is my favorite, but Bart holds a special place in my heart if ONLY because he was Impulse...

I say Wally because I can't help but feel like he's one of the better developed characters in the DCU, even if his current series ended kind of....blechily.

Also, The Ballad of Barry Allen is one of the best songs. EVER.

Like a lot of other people, I say Bart-- not for how he appeared in FMA, but for Impulse and the potential he had. That run was FAR too short. (... And a part of me really wanted to see a Flash that actively annoyed everyone around him and kept playing video games on the monitor. Bah. sad )

But I think the best Flash who was actually Flash for a decent amount of time was Wally. Because... He was Wally. "The Return of Barry Allen" is one of my most favorite stories ever.

Nah, he went on to be Kid Flash and then The Flash.

I can agree with you there, I hated that he even became Kid Flash, especially the personality change. But I still like him best, not necessarily as The Flash but as a member of the Flash family thing.

Wu the original flash was Jay Garrick, and yeah i spelled his name wrong for a while to so its cool. Now onto the real reason of this post; my favorite is of course wally west; hes always approached things from the perspective of someone who really knows how to live, i know everyone says J'onn was the heart and soul of the league but, while wally was there he really brought everyone together he was never truly the idiot some thought he was, he just realized his role and played to it he loved life, lived hard, and fought for his goals and conviction's with a fierceness and a strength that to this day still serves as a shining example to me of how humanity should live.
