burning_eyes Alright. I like violence as much as the next guy. HOWEVER. A few minutes ago, a friend turned me on to this video. It's insane to find out that this actually goes on. I'm sure most of you have probably seen/heard of this before, but it's new to me. All for Myspace fame.

Now, I suppose it's time for some internet/American society bashing. That's cool I guess.

My stance on this whole thing? I'm not surprised. Well, I am. I'm surprised that someone would go through that much trouble to be famous. I'm not surprised at the stupidity behind the matter. Does the American public seriously not have anything better to do with their lives?

I laughed my a** off at this guy for some reason. I don't know if it's the stupid chipmunk voice or the way he insults the assailants of that girl, but either way, it's good to know that for every violent, insane group of idiots, there's at least one nut willing to go that extra mile to ridicule them.

On topic though, I'm not one for violent encounters. If I happen to run across something like this, though, I might lose it and join in on the victim's side. Maybe with some kind of pipe or plank of wood, if they're handy. I'd like to think I would, anyway...
I can't condone the senseless beating of another person just for the hell of it. It's just... wrong. Nasty, brutish and short seems to be the state of human existence, much like Hobbes once said...

Wow, I remember when this happened. I vaguely remember seeing the original video.

Two things:
1. The American media needs to learn what qualifies as a "savage beating." 2. All of those girls need to learn how not to fight like girls.

Honestly, I think this goes to show how stupid teenage girls are. No let me rephrase that teenagers in general are. As far as I've seen there is a very small percentage of intelligent teenagers who know, YOU DON'T DO THIS s**t TO PEOPLE. Look I don't care if it wasn't a horrible beating, I don't care if the girl did or did not come out of this ok. You don't beat up someone just for the hell of it. That is what I consider an act of evil. Seriously, I do. I'm not saying the girls are evil, I'm not but their actions to me are. This girl did nothing to deserve 8 other people beating on her. Ugh I hope they get put in prison for a long long time.

Also, Sanzo, please stop running your mouth. None of this happened "just for the hell of it" and nothing ever does. This incident happened because those girls had a reason to hate that girl. Maybe she stole one of their boyfriends, or threatened to tell an adult about something incriminating they had done.

What I was pointing out in my post is that they weren't really beating her that hard. Consider the fights that boys in schools all over the world get into daily. Real teeth-shattering, wound-opening fights with balled fists, and brunt tackles. Fights like that just get broken up, maybe the participants get slapped on the wrist or possibly little worse. This fight was a bunch of screaming, b***h-slapping, and then more screaming. It got on the news. There was a court case over it.

What happened was wrong, but it's not anything I care about at all. And it makes me roll my eyes when I see people getting indignant over it, because it's not the next Roe vs Wade; it's something that happened yesterday, it's something that happened today, it's something that will happen tomorrow.

And though the criminals are girls (mostly), the victim is also a girl. They're much softer.

Whatever. I think the reason was because she, the victim, was doing some "trash talking" of sorts about them. Tch, such a poor reason. It's lawlable.

According to "my" sources: She was beaten upon and then tossed into a wall and was knocked unconscious. Then the video recording started afterwards when they finished abducting her.

Of course, it actually does seem to be a bit sensationalized. Quite a bit. o.O

I don't care too much, but I am glad they didn't do any murdering. Much more good. It's old news though. =w=

Just recently, a young woman KILLED herself because the boy that she was talking to (which was ACTUALLY the mother of some girl that this young woman was having a feud with) told her that the world would be better without her and whatnot.

First of all, I say jump off a bridge, you do it, you're a f**king moron. Furtermore, A GROWN WOMAN goes through the trouble of setting up a phony MySpace account, seducing this young woman, breaking her heart and ultimately causing her death because of some silly high school drama?!?!

And people wonder why The_Hbot is so cynical.

I hate the cespool that is humanity, (minus a very select few) and I wish that God had NOT promised to never flood the planet again, because I feel that it is high time for another cleansing. scream twisted mad stressed

First of all Bot.
The mother did not just tell her to kill herself. She gained her trust and got the girl to tell her secrets that she didn't tell to many people. She fell pretty hard for this "guy" [which was the mother] and then after a while the mother started to torment her and blast all her secrets over the internet. She became the laughing stock of school and she was bullied by a lot of people.

Why'd the mother do it? Because the girl hurt her son.
It happened a while ago. Over a year I think...
