Donnie Darko and blair witch project - OK, not strictly horror but they still mess with your head

All in all, I was impressed by May. The tonal shift part-way through the film was abrupt and mostly unnecessary, but the character of May was a fantastic and realistic psychopath. Her behaviors and motivations were believable, and her story is told through a respectful lens of tragedy.

Im getting Razorblade Romance for Christmas off a friend but I've never seen it nor had I heard of it until my boyfriend told me Im getting it. (Edit, sorry it's switchblade romance, my mistake.)

I want to watch Ichi the Killer. I (well my boyfriend) has it on DVD but Ive never got round to watching it.

I wouldn't call it a horror but The Orphanage has one or two really jumpy bits and is relatively creepy.

Saw films are the obvious.

I've never really been scared by a film, I watched Candy man when I was a toddler, I have two older brothers who are mad into horror so Ive been brought up with it.

Dead silent---made me scared to death of ventriloquist dolls...okay so i thought they where creepy before but still

If you can find it, try "The Audition". It's a japanese horror film. Towards the end it's rather graphic at points, but generally it involves what happens when a girl wants this man to Love her and ONLY her....
