[Kangarumi]

Since you totally don't know me, I'm gonna introduce myself~!

The name is [grumblegrumble], and I'll be a freshman in college in half a month! I'm really exited about it, and I hope I can make it through. I own two kigu's.

Kangaroo
This was my first kigurumi, and it will always be my favorite. The snugly winter material is enticing even on hot summer days (it's not fair how amazingly comfy it is!), and it has a convenient pouch in which lies my stuffed Joey. It came with the kigu, of course, but I often take him out to make more room for my wallet/keys/etc. His name is Engrish. ; 3

You can see me in my kangarumi at MTAC (Middle Tennessee Anime Convention), sometimes with a water bottle in the pouch. Boy, are those fun times. It looks...well, it just looks wrong. And that's why I do it, hehehe. I was in the Japanese fashion show by chance. You wanna know the story? Well, you will anyways. The people who were originally supposed to wear them forgot them at their homes (I know, kigu-sacrilege, right?) and a woman by the name of Alex asked me and Kappa if we could help fill in. Naturally, we said yes. I mean, who doesn't want to go onstage in front of their fellow Japan-lovers and show just how awesome they are? So, we went out and everyone loved the kigu section because we had this awesome power rangers pose. Well, that's the whole story. You can also see me in my Kigu walking around the city, in the movie theater, and pretty much anywhere. Me and Kappa even went to a cancer walk in them and did full participation~!

Seal
The seal kigu is my second and last kigurumi (cry!). I was sleepin' at Kappa's house and she flung the box on me to wake me up. Best way to find out your kigu has arrived, I swear. Well, except for the damage to your epidermis, that is. You can see me in this kigu anywhere around town, just like the kanga. I don't have any amazingly awesome and engrossing stories for this kigu, though. Did you know the seal has a tail? Oh yes, a nice little floppy seal tail. And flippers, too! Fun, fun, fun!

Nicknames: EP or Penny
I just graduated high school, but I'm going back for a victory lap because I need to get good enough grades for university. I never thought I would go AND I didn't have a clue what I wanted to do, so I never tried. Last semester (of course D<) I figured out what I wanted to do -teach English in Japan- but you need a bachelor's degree. > 3<
I live in Ontario, Canada.
I used to be a decorer (as in, I did the decora fashion), and really wish I could get back into it. It just seems like I never have the time anymore. That or the weather is hating on me. *sighs*

About my kigu:
I have Hello Kitty and Pikachu -winter material- and I bought them from Euro Gal (a gyaru-based online store with great customer service).
Besides wearing them to Anime North, I haven't worn them because I'm super-afraid of spilling something on them when in the house, and outside the house I don't have anyone to wear them with. I may have been ballsy enough to do decora outside on my home, but kigu's a little more 'WOAH.'
Though I do have a friend in Toronto who I'll hopefully wear them with at some point this month, and if I don't find a sweet lolita dress in time for Fan Expo then I'll just wear my kigu. :3
If I ever have the extra cash I'll probably buy the Stich kigu. I wanted to buy it when I bought the others, but my total with shipping and handling was already at $200. x_x
The only pics I have of me in my kigu are in the list provided above by Noxin, so I won't bother posting them. Just know that since then my hair has been bleached.

Well, I might as well add my own intro, no?

I'm The Girl Called Kill, but you can call me whatever you like. Usually people call me Ren. ;D

I'm from California, but go to college in Pennsylvania (don't ask me why, cause I don't really know, myself). I'm going to be a senior in college this year, and have no clue what I'm doing with my life as an archaeology major. Woot for real life?

I have 2 Kigus, a dino and pikachu.

The Dino I got from Anakaiblog who did a magnificent job mailing it. I have been know to sport this Kigu the most, since it is summer material. So far I've only worn it out once, to a party where in a drunken stupor I accidentally spilled wine allll over it. But I got it out after about a half hour of drunken scrubbing. Hehe.

The Pikachu I got from our own beautiful thread/guild creator Noxin. I believe this kigu will be worn more often once I get back to Pennsylvania for school and it becomes cold-ish. I have worn this kigu to the Comic Con! It was rather hot inside it, but entertaining as EVERYONE wanted pictures with me. :'D Whee~

I have no plans to buy any other kigus, though I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to get one for himself. :'D I think I'll buy him one soon, though I'm not sure which... Probably one of the pandas. But I'm not sure yet. x)

I have a bajillion pictures of me from the party in my dino kigu and will upload one/some as soon as I can. biggrin

Kappa Kigurumi

Heya everyone~! You can just call me Kappa. ; D My real name is the same as Disney princess from a movie that may or may not be placed in the same area as my favorite Korean manga (One Thousand and One Nights-read it, it's awesome). My interests are pretty weeaboo-specific, though you won't find me squealing or glomping you (I actually listened to kindergarten manner lessons : / ). I like J-fashion (especially kigus and hime!), bjds, para para dancing, a few anime shows (hetalia and Full Metal Panic), a lot of manga (especially One Thousand and One Nights and Nodame Cantable, both can be read online), cosplaying, video games, and cute plushies. You may have already guessed, but I also love to use parenthesis in my sentences. In fact, I abuse them. I also want to be a translator as an adult. Way for playing video games before they come out~!


Anyway, on to the kigu stuff~! My first kigu was a kappa! Why? Because they're super cute and awesome (minus the butt-vampire part)! It's in the winter material and it is reeeeaaallly comfy. I love it lots and lots.

My second kigu was a giraffe~! It was a close toss up between a few of them, but the giraffe won out in the end. : > For some reason, putting on the giraffe gives me +6 aggressive points. True facts. It's of the summer/spring material, so it is pleasant to wear during these months. -sips tea-

My next kigu will probably be the cow from G-market. : > I want to own one for every day of the week sometime in the future!

Now I'm off to sing obnoxiously to the Wicked soundtrack. Yes, my days are very busy indeed.

Right now I still only own the one Hello Kitty kigurumi (haven't had much motivation to get more since the weather is so warm!) but I also do have a Gloomy Bear one that I bought from an lj community biggrin I don't have a photo of me wearing it but I do have one of my good friend when she came to visit:

I love that it's short so I can wear it during the warmer months. I've been also taking Bikram Yoga so kigurumis are great to wear right after a great workout and shower biggrin

About my kigu: I got it as a Christmas present last year from my grandma who bought it from Akinaiblog, It is a winter fleece kigurumi, though I did have a small problem when it arrived here, there was a small unfinished stitch line on the right shoulder, it was easy to fix though, so no point in sending it back! ( when I posted on the LJ kigurumi community about this Akinaiblog posted asking if i would like to return it! Good costumer service!!) I am not really a anime fan anymore, so I have never worn it to a big event (convention) ( although a polar bear kigurumi with a dharma logo on the butt would be so grate for a Lost party ;'D) or with another kigurumi (my friends need to get some D'x) But all winter I wore it everywhere, I love shopping at supermarkets, little kids run up to me thinking i'm a mascot or something :'D !

I normally wear Lolita stuff, and this picture is actually from a Lolita meet at the beach XD. It was too cold for Lolita, though, so out came pikachu! The Oregon coast sucks and is cold even in the summer sad I wish I had a kappa kigurumi, too!
