I play snare, and I love it. I also played bass. Tenors are ok. For marcing season, Snare. Def. Concert season, timpani.

im more a set player but we play alot of Snare songs so snare/set.
I also alternate to Tenor for a few songs we play.
When i feel the need to mess around with the timpani, i do that.

I play my set more often because it calms me down(Even when I play Hard Rock xD). But thats at home/jazz band

ok, i'm in guard, but i love the drumline (even though i suck at playing drums) and i like marimbas and tympanis in pit, and snares are always AMAZING but the basses are always cool in their winterguard routine....and i can't forget the tenors....
(i'm sorry if i offended anyone by posting on this even though i don't play percussion)

i love the quints they sound awesome all they way to the bank scream and since im the only one in the band i can basically do whatever i want and make it sound great yay for sucking surprised
