Ron Paul is pretty much the only one of the Republican candidates I have any respect for. He's probably the most intelligent and principled person in Congress.

I really like Ron Paul. He is very respectable and smart. Although I think my favorite was Gulianni, and he just made some bad decsicions on where to spend his time in the primaries. He probably would have been better than McCain. But what we're stuck with, we're stuck with.

I've always supported McCain. I was absolutely thrilled when he won the nomination.

invisibleairwaves Ron Paul is pretty much the only one of the Republican candidates I have any respect for. He's probably the most intelligent and principled person in Congress. I saw your post right away. I was glad to see true republicans in this guild. I too was not only a supporter I went on to become a delegate for him. I still support the campaign for liberty and still follow ron paul faithfully. Unlike other candidates Ron Paul never abandoned his followers. He opened the Youth for Liberty schools across the nation, to teach the younger ones about the constitution. He is getting more attention now than ever before. I see him in the news constantly. We have some great candidates coming up for election in my state, who are also supporters of Ron Paul. We were not ever in an election. We ARE in a revolution. Still going strong at it too. Did you know that Rand Paul, Ron's son is running next year? So behind the scenes the revolution is still going full tilt and more and more people are waking up. He is mentioned even on Hannity now. LOL . Remember them snowballs? Do you still support his campaign for liberty? I still get letters in the regular mail from him. I am also going to help out in this next election cycle for a guy in our neighborhood (district) who is a constitutional conservative. I think he has a real good shot at it too. He will help Ron Paul in congress. We got to get those people in there to take back our country.

The federal reserve is a lot of the problem. Ron Paul now has a bill in washington to audit the feds and it has 160 sponsers last I checked. There is no oversight on the feds and that is why we do not know how our money is being spent. We have a right to know that. It's our money.

I supported Guliani because I thought he would be best for defending the country but as was said before he mae some really bad choices with the primaries and I guess I supported him in ignorence because I didn't bother to look at the rest of the issues but now I am better informed.

I liked Romney and Paul, and I was actually all for Mike Gravel in the Democrat party. I liked watching him get really angry and tell off the others in the debates, and he was more libertarian than most of the Republican nominees. I would have really liked to watch him debate Romney, or have a choice between Gravel and Paul, either one of whom would have been better than BHO.

I only supported McCain because Palin was there...I still can't find a worthy nominee, though.
What I want is a conservative supporting gay marriage.

Oh, I was all for Mike Huckabee in the primaries, and I voted for him in the primaries as well. I would heart a Sarah Palin/Mike Huckabee ticket in 2012, if there are still elections by then...
