Hey all!
I'm still pretty new to everything here on Gaia. I was trying to finish up my BA and it got really crazy so I wasn't allowing myself to use this as an escape after awhile ha! Anyway I'm 26 (December birthday creeping up) and been taking the long way around in life. So sometimes it's a little rough watching everyone around me speed 'ahead' in life with starting family, working on their masters, etc. In the end though I'm kinda glad I'm not rushing through like that, it's been really nice. I was working on a degree in International Studies (have my associates). I'm on another 1 year break for awhile because of both personal issue and the last university I was at just turned out bad (though I'm glad to have had the experience, learned a lot of good "out-of-class" things). Now I'm just having fun (sarcasm) job hunting in the great state of Michigan (where I grew up). xp Hoping to save up some money and move back to CA where I was for school.
Hoping to have some fun on Gaia cause I could use all the good stress relievers I can get lol. I didn't log in a lot too because I'd get stress by all the teens lol! So it will be nice to actually be with people who can hold a conversation and one that I can actually read!

Welcome aboard!
No worries about the length of intro- I actually prefer the "longer" ones because they help us get to know new members a bit better.
I'm Antonia, one of the mods, and we're a pretty friendly bunch around here. Any questions feel free to ask, you can also check the "Guide to the Guild" which is posted in the intro forum and the main forum.
International studies- that's awesome! Do you speak any languages besides English?

I love languages but I am horrible at learning them. I've taken spanish ever since middle school but I'm still horrible at it. I probably read it and sometimes understand it spoken better than I speak or write it myself. I spent six months in Thailand several years back and picked up a smidge of that. I'd love to work more on that at some point.

ah! another december birthday! i'm turning the big three-oh at the end of december. glad you found us. hope we're both stimulating and stress relieving for you. if you need help with anything, feel free to ask any of us. we won't bite... unless you like that sort of thing. twisted i keed i keed.
