I had an inviation to another 21+ guild...but it looked a little....erm...how should I say it....R rated. I guess I could be wrong because I didn't join - but it didn't look like my cup-of-tea anyway.

Yeah I got invited, 50 g's to join...but I'm already in so many guild, and can't keep up already lol. Plus this is the main guild, I go to now. biggrin

Sablara I saw it...I ignored it. heart I had an inviation to another 21+ guild...but it looked a little....erm...how should I say it....R rated. I guess I could be wrong because I didn't join - but it didn't look like my cup-of-tea anyway. I think we actually have lost members to the other 21+ guilds, and I know the 30+ guild has hurt us big time. I think people can be members of multiple adult guilds, but it seems like people sort of imprint on one or the other. We strive to not be overly R rated- because we don't want to attract the youngins ' with the alluring "OMG, I can Cuss and talk about SEX in this guild!" So far I find that people around here respect that maybe the entire guild doesn't want to know the torrid details of their bedroom life. Plus I think adults understand their partners needs for privacy-- that old fashioned don't kiss and tell thing.

Even if another rival guild is posted, it doesn't hurt us too much. Many 21+ers will check it oug, and if it's too high strung, over sexed, or high maintenence, those gaians will be looking for more chillaxed 21+ groups like ours.
Plus, it gives the kiddies another guild to try to sneak in besides ours.

Yeah, I saw that and I too (well my alter-ego wink ) was invited to join another adult guild, but when I checked it out I wasn't too impressed.
Besides, if we were in the limelight just think how overpopulated this guild would become and how we might lose a lot of our closeness to one another. neutral

Methuselah was invited to that other 21+ gUild too -not the one in the spotlight, a newer one- which makes me think that one of their mods must be a member of ours and going through our members lists, because I don't think Methuselah has ever posted anywhere else on Gaia!
I don't really think it matters though, we have a great bunch of people here, and while making new friends is always fabulous, if some people choose another guikd over ours, it isn't the end of the world...mayebe we could approach them about becoming a sister guild, so that we don't feel we're in competition with them? As long as they aren't R rated...

I was invited to join another 21+ guild, and I joined, just because. I don't think I've ever posted there, though, and I haven't even looked at it in weeks. I like this one.

I was invited to another one. It was like 50 gold to join, but I didn't bother, because I really prefer this one. I rarely get time to post as it is these days unfortunately. Busy, busy, busy! sweatdrop

I was invited to that other one, I think... but I really don't need MORE guilds. I am too inactive in the awesome ones I am in! Besides I am kind of selective. I rather LIKE an over 21 guild being JUST FOR over 21... not having all ages but the young ones play "nurse." I mean exceptions are fine, but wy flood it with "yay! I'm a grown up guild!" kids?

I joined, don't really know why since this is the only guild I ever look at (well Sailor Moon too) and I'm not finding as much time for posting anywho. I hope w don't lose the closeness/awesomeness of our guild.
