Synopsis: Dokuro-chan tells the story of Sakura Kusakabe, a second-year junior high school student who, twenty years in the future, offends God by accidentally creating a serum for immortality. Dokuro Mitsukai, a member of an order of angel assassins, has been sent from the future to kill him. Believing that Sakura can be redeemed, Dokuro decides instead to keep Sakura so occupied that he can never develop the immortality technology. Due to her impulsive nature and super-human strength however, she frequently kills him with her gigantic spiked club on a moment's impulse, then returns him to life moments later with angelic magic.
I was surprised by how few people in the A/M/C had heard of this one. It's very short (and most of it can be found on YouTube) with a really infectious theme song and cute animation; and charmingly, loads and loads of unexpected violence. It's not quite as cracked-out as FLCL, but you still have to have a pretty special sense of humor. 4laugh
For those of you who've seen it, what did you think?

It's amusing, and thankfully short. I don't know that the premise could have supported a longer series, but it was sufficiently funny while it lasted. smile

I rather enjoyed the entire first season. I've only watched the first episode of the second season. Perhaps I'll pick up again some time... ninja

I could buy it for about 16 dollars, which is appropriate for the amount of episodes on it, but I really don't feel any good reason too. Is it that good?

What happened to the series? Why did it end there? Was it taken off air or something. Or maybe I just can't find anything further then season 2 episode... I think it was 6?
Up till then it was AMAZING. Randomly gory and hilariously funny. Best I've seen for a while. xd

I just thought it was one of the most cracked-out animes ever. Damn funny too. The dog-head guy was the best. xD
