With the advent of guild week we have contests and fun for everyone. Best of all-- GOLD. That's right. The winners of the Avatar contest will win 1000 gold, each.
As for the Caption Contest:
3rd Place- 2,000 gold
2nd Place- 3,000 gold
1st Place- 5,000 Gold
As for the secret Santa- We resolved that people can give gifts of any price range-- however, the gifts will be distributed so that people who give slightly more expensive gifts will receive the better gifts. That way no matter how little gold you have, you can participate, and also so no one gifts an Angelic Halo (don't we all wish we had one?) and receives a Pair of Flame Pants in return.
How to do Secret Santa: Give a gift, or do a trade with Main Man Methuselah-- DO NOT gift him anonymously!!!!!! We need your screen name on your gift so we know who is in the pool of gifts. This is also important for recording keeping amongst the mods. Make sure you trade/gift to Main Man and only to Main Man. Please mention in a note if you gift that the gift is for the secret santa-like exchange.
Why Gift to Main Man?
Since Main Man is the guild Mule, all mods have access to his records and therefore all mods are familiar with the receipts. Also, this increases the speed of the event because various mods can log into Main Man instead of waiting for a single mod to be online.

After receiving a donation from Super Buick to put towards the prize money for the avatar contest, we have decided to add a little to his contribution and bump up the prize money to a total of 10,000 gold! That means each of the winning avatars will receive 5000g each!! How great is that!!
