I've noticed something: why is it that at every concert you perform, no matter what you do or where you go, there is ALWAYS a baby/little kid in the audience that HAS to start crying/talking during a performance? Here's a couple of experiences:

1) 6th grade winter concert. We were singing a song called "Snow is Falling Still". There was a nice, quiet instrumental solo, when all of a sudden a baby starts crying, thus killing the silence. ._. Some of us were giggling.

2) Northeastern District Junior Girls Concert. Where: between the songs "The Lake Isle of Innisfree" and "Stand Together", and "Stand Together" and "Shiru". Between the songs there were a few seconds of silence. Then, out of the silence comes........"yay!". I must've been giggling onstage. It was just so random and funny.

So, tell me about your babies/little kids-at-concerts experiences, if you've had any.

I have heard a certain little someone talking/yelling and when he was younger crying during our concerts...it's my little brother. I tell you, it's kinda embarrassing when I would watch my mom take him out of the concert because he was being too loud.

I have had so many. I will do 2 though.

1) We where just doing our Spring Concert not too long ago, There was a long break, the choir sang, and then WAA! A baby started to cry.

2) This one i sorta off topic. Sorta: The Christmas Concert. I Quote:
"GO SUMMER!" Im not summer, but my friend is.
"SUMMER IS SMEXY!" <-- that scared me half to death.

I hope there isn't any kid/baby at my concert tomorrow. XP
Whats more annoying? Getting dizzy from a Flute or a crying kid??

There were little kids/a baby at our concert XP.

The 7th graders were performing, and this 6 yr old girl, climbs the stair to the stage, opens the un-opened door! WHILE PERFORMING!
(Okay, the stage is in the center. Unlike the ES auditorium, you have two doors, and you have to walk up both stairs to get to your seat. HS is different. The stage is connected to the door, you don't have any steps.)

A baby cried during a Clarinet solo O_o;.

In our booklets, it says "DO NOT get up to go to the bathroom while musicians are performing." These are your answers:
A)TONS of people went up
B)Everybody read that part, and didn't get up.

If you answer A, your correct! Only about 29% were patient. -_-

The worst:
A little boy... a 5th grader... was.... Playing w/ his DS. During our concert. > : P

Somebody yelled "GO ARTHUR!!!!!" and nobody's name is Arthur in our band O_o;;

We were playing this song with a really quiet opening and before hand my bd told everyone to be respectful and be quiet. Evidentially if you perform in a cafeteria, it isn't possible (/sarcasm). (During our Fine Arts Festival the gym where we usually perform in is full of...art...go figure. We don't have an auditorium.)

I hear babies crying at almost every concert I've attended or played in. xD

The band usually responds with a giggle fit. x3

There's always some little kid making noise in the audience at concerts. Makes me wish they could find a way to not bring them.

What cracks us up is when some little kid grabs an empty bottle, stands on their seat, and starts trying to imitate our BDs conducting. Fortunately, now that our school has a true Performing Arts Center, this doesn't happen as often.

hmmmmmmmmmm...any little kids/babies?
i know there's one...there HAS to be one somewhere in my memory!
ah...
we weren't playing at all, but I was standing in the front door to the gym (no auditorium.. crying ) handing out fliers. My friends kept coming up saying:
"What are you doing?"
me: "I'm 'special' I get to hand out the 'special' fliers!" ^_^

well, this little kid comes up and has be give him like FIFTEEN...he takes it to the bleachers...and...yeah i didn't see his family..

but while we were playing, i heard a baby start crying and i'm like (we're not that bad are we?!) in the end we were like: "dude did you hear that baby?"

my BD tryed to fix that by asking for parents to take kids out when that do that cuz there's speakers in the lobby so thay can still listen. it works most of the time.
