Have you or someone you know ever rescued a cat? And I don't mean by adoption.
Example: My friend was walking to his friend's house. On the way, he saw a little white kitten curled up in the street. "Awww, kitty." he thought. Then he saw the bus coming at it. eek He yelled "I CAN MAKE IIIIIT!" and ran at the kitten, scooped it up and just barely got out of the bus's way. The kitten now belongs to his friend and is a big, white, cuddly blob. ^^
I also rescued a kitten once, although not quite as awesomely. My grandparents live on a farm. They have lots and lots of cats. Well, quite a few years ago, one of the kittens got stuck in the barn. The second floor of the barn, where much of the boards were rotted away. Out of four of us, I'm the oldest and heaviest, but I didn't want my relatives to get hurt, so I climbed out onto the rotting boards and retrieved the kitten, which had gotten its paw stuck.

I've helped a few cats before. One cat was a tabby cat I named grumpy, I took care of after he got stuck in a car, he ended up getting a good home. Another was a kitten that I found huddled up against the side of a muffler shop building next to my house, it was raining pretty hard, so I took her home and grabbed some old blankets and made her a spot to sleep in our garage, and fed her. But she ended up getting sick and died. Another cat was one that showed up out of no where and decided to stay at, what my parents would like to call it, "Hobby farm", but he ended up getting sick, so we went to take him home with us to bring to the vet, but he died on the way home. There are more cats I've helped before, but there are too many to list.

I live on a farm so it's not uncommon to get strays alot. But this cat strayed to our farm and would always hunt in the front yard for birds and I didn't think anything of it so I left her alone. But one night when I went out with my dad to feed our two cows (Bob and Emma), we both heard a very strange sound coming from a tree. The cat had gotten her head stuck in a hallow hole (where there had once been birds/ birdsnest) in the tree!! So my dad rushed to get a ladder and I had to run inside and get a flashlight. So I stood holding the flashlight in the dark while my dad broke away the bark of the tree for about an hour. The cat survived and has been EXTREMELY greatful ever since then and has been dubbed the name Oscar the Grouch (she mumbles all the time about everything and refuses to allow anyone else to get near me to be petted xd ) Oh, and she refuses to hunt anymore (she's pleasantly plump...LOL xd )

I haven't, but my brother and some of his friends have. They were playing airsoft (like paintball) when my brother looked down and saw this little fluffy kitten. He had hurt his leg so he couldn't get down in the undergrowth and get the kitty, so he got one of his teammates. Fortunately, they rescued little kitty before someone misfired and hit the little guy! Now the kitten lives with one of them.
