one day in band while i was practicing before my BD called me into the back music room and talked to me about marching band. He notice that i did baritone very well in band but i played pit percussion in marching and wants me to switch to marching baritone what should i do for your opinions.

if your director is anyone like mine he would appreciate you more if you got out of the percussion section and played baritone. Really all it comes down to is which instrument do you find more fun to play in band.

My instincts are telling me to say that you should stay in pit, and never mind your BD. i guess like vice48 says, it all comes down to what you like best. oh, and whether you like/can march or not. ^.^
