I'm so Excited. Fanplusfriend is amazing! The packaging was all in japanese, but it was so cool.
The people at my school didn't like it. But I didn't care. I felt so pretty. One girl liked it, she said she was going to buy one now. But when I tried to explain to her that lolita is not just a fashion, it is also a culture, she just ignored me. burning_eyes ah, oh well. It kind of angers me that she doesn't know much about lolita, but is intent on copying me. But I'll get over it, at least I was original for a day. xP

Do you have pictures?
While it's exciting to get a new dress and obvious that you want to "live the lifestyle" as well, you have to keep in mind that not everyone does. There is no one lolita culture outside of the clothes, every girl who wears it has a different take on it. You can't force someone to adhere to your own.
Also, the packaging was probably all in Chinese, since F+F is in Hong Kong, not Japan. ^^;

Congrats on getting your first dress. And as Spunito said, everyone has their own views of lolita fashion. As for myself, I don't live the "lolita lifestyle" and I have my reasons to. But I still enjoy the thrill of wearing playful clothes that cheer me up when no one else will.
Also, she's right, F+F is from Hong Kong, so it would be Chinese.

Was it hard to order from them? I've considered getting a jacket from them, but I get a little iffy when it comes to international shipping.

Your first dress is always very special. ^-^ Its very pretty.
And also, not every one lives the lifestyle. In fact, some people in this guild are against it for some reason... ah, well, anyway I enjoy living it and I hope you do too.

I'd love to see pictures of the actual thing.
And lolita IS just a fashion. All that "lifestyle" stuff is just tacked on by some people, but you're not less of a lolita if you don't follow it. I personally think it's silly, so to each his own.
And I don't see whats so horrible about her liking it enough to want to wear something like it herself. Hopefully she won't go out and buy an eBay monster, but it's kinda cool not being the only person who likes it.

That's actually a really cute dress. I used to hate F+F, but that was a long time ago when they used to make a lot of crappy cosplay versions of lolita (they still do, but not as much. I wish I had some replicas from them).

oh thank god. You actually picked one of their cute JSKs. Alot of begginer lolitas seem to always pick some of F+Fs cosplay looking items so good job. Also i hope you post pictures soon. I was acutally wanting to buy that one ^^
and about the lifestyle thing im personally not into changing my self because of my clothes and think its ridiculous (espically the lifestyle people who want to go around telling people how to act) your not less of a Lolita for being yourself.
