Anyone play? Or used to play in school?
I used to play the flute. I miss it. I still have it up north with all the stuff that was in my parents house. When I get it back I might start playing again.
My parents tried to teach me to play guitar but my fingers were hurting. lol

I tried the guitar back in high school many many cycles ago, but I never got far with it. I may try it again one of these days.
As it stands now, I'm just a big fan of music. I have particular admiration for guitarists and drummers.
Beatboxers are also cool. xd

Back in middle and high school I was in the band, a trumpet player.
As much as I would like to say I was very good at it, I most definitely was not. xd When I first started I was actually decent...but then I had to get braces and that just totally threw me off. gonk

I can play piano, I still take piano lessons.
I took violin lessons from the time I was 4 years old, but I quit when I was in high school because I played by ear and couldn't read music very well so they wouldn't let me into the orchestra. I hope I can play again some day.
I have a guitar but I don't know how to play it. =)
I can play the dulcimer and marimba a little.
I would like to know how to play the banjo or the ukelele. Or maybe the contra bassoon. wink
Also I am skilled at kazoo. rofl And Guitar Hero, haha! sweatdrop

I played the Clarinet. I'm at the moment trying to teach myself how to play the guitar. I love library resources!

Me too! I miss it so much. I played for like 10 years and was actually pretty good, but then I stopped playing...what a mistake.

i played the cello for 6 years, sadly i quit after high school. i can also play the guitar, the bass guitar, the harmonica, can kinda play the piano, and am a classically trained vocalist with a 3 octave range. i can sing from a bass E to an alto E with every note in between. not bad for a smoker, eh?

A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight... I never played anything in high school. I taught myself the ocarina and I dabble with piano and keyboard. I also have an electric guitar but I can't play. ...and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.

I'd say the piano is a stringed instrument, but also percussion since the hammers hit the strings.
I used to play the clarinet in middle school, but now I'm a drummer. Oh I also played the coronet too. For like a week. whee

I tried to play the flute. I think I stuck with it for a few months. My teacher never showed up to practice (he was a pretty lazy guy) so I just quit. I thought if he's not going to show up, what's the point? I wish now that I would have stuck with it. I've been wanting to play the violin actually. It's my favorite instrument. ^^

Piano is technically a string instrument (since it is the string vibration that makes the sound just like a violin because you can hit the strings with the back of the bow). I played both as well as drums, trombone, guitar (sort of), handbells and voice if you consider it an instrument. Also we had to play recorder in school but I think everyone did that smile
