Okie dokie, what is the rest of your veiws about high heels as part of the band uniform. Mine is, whoever invented theese stipid toe pinching foot binding spike heeled 'shoe' should be kicked in the head with one and then whacked repedetly on the head with the insterment of your choice, preferably something large and heavy.

ouch! that would Not go over very well... our drum majors wore them but i don't think it would work if high heels were part of the band uniform

It's the concert uniform. Why is it that only the girls have to wear the stupid painful 'cloths' and low cut stuff.

What's my opinion you ask? HELL NO!

I'd rather be thrown off a cliff and into freezing, acid, man-eating alligator-infested waters first. I wore heels ONCE and that was enough for me. They hurt so bad. crying

We aren't forced to wear high heels with our concert dresses. The shoes just have to be dressy.

It is stupid that you are required to wear them. I wear them, but only because they are the only black shoes that I have.

i'd rather have heels than my horrible cross-dressing uniform. I'm a chick, I don't want to wear a tux.

We don't have to, but you can if you want, but its not best to. I wouldn't, espically if I had a heavy instrument like Tuba or Baritone or Baritone Sax xP

I would never wear high heels. I'd wear the guys unifrom first.

The majority of the girls in our band (especially woodwinds) wear them, and I think they're crazy.

I wear black boots with my uniform. And pants.

Most of the flutes (Like....5 flutes) wore heeled shoes...-____- How stupid! What if you trip? Then you have to pay up. And most of the girls wore short skirts... .____. ewwy. I wore pants w/ flats... xD

I play better when I'm wearing heels for some reason. They help with my posture and keep me from crossing my feet.

The only time I hate wearing them is when I have to carry my euphonium in its case.

I wore high heels once to a concert then at the nd of the day I remembered that I left my jacket in the band room and I was still wering the heels I couldn't take them off because they had straps that went around my ankle so I had to run in them, they were my first set of high heels.....I was fine untill I passed some friends who yelled at me and told me not to fall, A bystander said she was afraid that I broke my ankle. These were serious high heels guys three and a half inches off the ground....that was like three months ago and my ankle still isn't completely heeled. Aperently I limp sometimes some one has told me.....
