LOST: Via Domus is the official name for the video game coming out for PS3,
X-box 360, and PC. Not a lot of information has been released about the game but there is one trailer out and a special feature on the last disk of the season 3 box set.
Basically, you play as a crash survivor named Elliot. He is suffering from amnesia and throughout the game he is trying to piece together his past. The game goes through the first 3 seasons. You'll be able to explore areas on the island that havn't been seen and visit familiar sites as well. You'll also be able to interact with characters and form alliances based on dialouge options. Appearently there will be a lot of puzzles but that isn't all there is for gameplay. You'll have to fight off animals, others, and the monster!

Gamestop has the pre-release date set as 2/26/08
The cover art is the exactly the same as the art on the box set of season 3.

Wow, sounds pretty interesting. 3nodding

By the way, "Via Domus" is Latin for "through the home". So it's like the Lost experience is coming into your very own home! 8D

I was a little worried when I first heard about it but from what I've seen it looks like they're putting some effort into it. I think it's going to end up being a pretty cool game. whee
And the Via Domus thing- didn't know. That's kind of cool. xd

its looks good, but to me it just seems like a Myst rip off using Lost characters.

They must make it for the DS! eek

That would be nice. Then I could carry the game wherever, but I doubt they'll make one for the DS.
They do have a LOST game for the Ipod or something like that. I don't have one so I don't know how that works.

I've played it... beat it in 2 days. Very easy but at times a little difficult. It's very Lost like in the aspect that they mess with you at the ending. also for new chapters they do a Lost recap (ie. Previously on lost... *Recap* then an excerpt that shocks, then the Lost title screen.) Also they go into your character's history. It's a great one time play.

Voices, and faces/bodies, was terrible. It amde me not liek it as much.

Game-play was good, but short.

The story line had some spoilers, and neat information that is/was easy to forget.

I liked the way it was set up and everything, but it was really short.... And (spoilers)
him getting off the island? WTF? And Locke, aka Mr. I Like to Bomb Any Way Off This Place, helping him do it? Totally unbelievable. <<

iLor is right, voices and faces were simply terrible.

The pauses between 'episodes' were incredibly irritating.
You'd play about 25-30 minutes, and all of a sudden you get the title screen, then a recap of the 'last episode' which you just played mere seconds ago.

Ordered mine a while back
Beat it.

It's an okay game. Good storyline. Kind of boring gameplay. Such a LOST ending! Voice acting sucked... A lot.
