 NANA is a beautiful manga that has been adapted into a series of anime and two films! From the renowned mangaka, Ai Yazawa (who also brought us Paradise Kiss and Gokinjo Monogatari), the anime adapatation is currently incredibly popular in Japan and has met large success internationally. This delightfully musical shōjo romance follows the lives of two ambitious women, both coincidentally named "Nana" (ナナ). The story follows their milestones and mishaps in life and love. Fans currently await series two in Japan, and I personally can't get enough!
Come along and discuss the anime adaptation, whether it be the storyline, animation, loves and hates or the amazingly diverse soundtrack.

I'm desperate to read the manga! I'm a huuuge fan of Ai Yazawa and the anime was absolutely amazing. The second series will probably air in Japan this autumn, so I'm super excited! <3

I'm a fan of Ai Yazawa and her works too. ='D
Wah! I'm not that far in the anime, but the manga is totally <33.
Shin is my favorite character. And in the second movie, surprisingly, one of my favorite actors, Hongo Kanata is starring as him!
Are the live action movies good? I'm planning on watching them some time [if I ever have time].

I mean the sub-title is really fitting: Ai yazawa's pure creation.
I have all the manga books that have come out xd and totals 71 chapters till 3nodding and OMG OMG OMG it gets sooo good.......
but dont wanna spiol it xd 3nodding

Definitely watch the anime, Katsu! You'll get into it so quickly and end up watching episode after episode {that's why I did XP} I even got on of my bro's friends into XD

Cheremy LeBeau Definitely watch the anime, Katsu! You'll get into it so quickly and end up watching episode after episode {that's why I did XP} I even got on of my bro's friends into XD
By the way, sorry I went offline so suddenly before, my Internet connection is going mad o___x;; D'x!! Bad connection, bad! D< And i do believe i will watch it ^_^ lol, i was planning on it anyways, but i'm convinced now, just gotta finish Sky Girls and Clannad first....>_>;;;

Cheremy LeBeau I'm just getting started on Clannad, but I took a break to re-read Death Note and watch Tutu. There's always so much to watch and read >___> LOL I know, right? xD I just started Clannad today, I'm still on the first section of the first eps >>;;;. And Sky Girls i'm pretty much in the same place ^^; but once i get started, I can watch about 2-3 eps of each a weekend.

I'm training myself not to watch episode after episode throughout the night 'till 9am the next morning XD I've got interviews coming up for uni soon and exams after that so I've got to take a break from anime to work on my portfolio and rehearse o___x;; Anime is so darn addictive...
