if u think percussion is cool (evn though it already is) put ur posts here to explain on how cool ur drumline or wht evr is the coolest!!!

We're cool because we hear high school drum calls, take them, then name then "stolen." And we can never play the drum break right in Shout It Out.

Seriously, everyone yells at us (percussion section) when we mess up, but without us, they would be way off beat and such

I don't get why the band director is always yelling at the percussion. I do my best, but to her it is not enough. No matter what I do it is never enough for her.

ironman-reborn a lot of people would always scream at me for dropping the cymbals or for missing my entrance. stressed ...dropping cymbals is a sin... crying RHS Thunder Drum line...uh...We have fun sweatdrop (but in so doing, we win a lot of stuff... once we beat the Compton sounders, *its a line full of big scary people* and i somehow ended up by where they were meting after the performance in my uniform... luckily, our 6'5" 300lb Mexican was there to protect me.)

At my school, the drumline is really small. We only have five people, but we're still one of the better drumlines, and unlike schools with big drumlines, we're all really good friends.

THS DRUMLINE!!!! Yay for not having a name! XD I only dropped a cymbal once and that was because the straps were old and one of the straps broke off. LOL! My drum teacher fixed it with a penny!!! XD He's so rad....XD Yeah....O_O That is lucky for you....XD

my marching band won first place for a marching parade because we were the only school that wore their uniforms

lol, we may have gotten heatstroke, but we got to put a first place medal in our medal case!
