I've seen several "You know you're a SCAdian if" threads, but none like this. This is much like the bad garb thread, only more generic. So, I make mean but humorous statements and people defend the newbies.

Last Pennsic, me and some friends threw this list together.

You know you're a SCAdian tool if...
-Your personna story involves more than three continents.
-Your personna story is little more than an excuse as to why you're wearing something over two hundred years out of your period.
-Your personna story involves one or more of the following: gypsy curses, witch hunts, ninja in the middle east or england, cursed jewelry of any sort, multiple women in drag in the miliatary (with exception for periods in which that would actually happen), vampires.
-You're reading this list and wondering what a personna is.
-You've ever been in feality for more than five people at once.
-You're not sure what a feality is, but if you can be in it with more than five people at once, you want to try it.
-Your personna invented velcro.
-Your personna has twentith centry morals in the eleventh century.
-You're reading this list and thinking "That's a good idea!"
-Your personna is just outside copyright infringement of Aragorn, captain Jack Sparrow, Joan of Arc, Merlin, or Robin Hood.
-Your personna is just outside copyright infringement of Naruto.
-Your personna alludes to having elf blood.
-Your personna was immaculately concieved. (see above)
-You've used Shakespeare as your main source of documentation.
-You've used Shakespeare as your main source of documentation and you're a viking.
-You've used Shakespeare as your main source of documentation and you wonder why the laurels are giving your bicycle such a funny look.
-Tri. Corner. Hat.

If you're rocking a pirate persona, what's wrong with a tri-corner hat?

You know you're a SCAdian tool if a Knight in your Barony gets so sick he's almost dead, and all of a sudden you just dissapear off the face of the planet and dont call, dont visit him, dont ask his family how they are doing.

Oh wait, I guess thats just me being bitter at how much the Barony of Tir-y-don loved my dad until he went into the Hospital and couldn't be around to entertain them or recommend them for awards.

Even his own household.

Not nearly as sorry as my poor old pa-pa...

But thank you for the sentiment, tis appreciated.
