From the 101 Lolita Lifestyle Tips2. Get a Lolita pen pal, learn how to write a proper formal letter and send it on pretty scented paper, send gifts and things for each others birthdays. You might want to purchase a quill or dip pen, its fun to write with when you get used to it and has an old fashioned feel.Here is the form to fill out if you are seeking a penpal. sounds like fun! I have a calligraphy pen heart but I'd also be kinda nervous about giving out my address :/
one really wonky way of going about this would be to scan handwritten letters and emaili each other xd or just use fancy email with proper headings and backgrounds?

Personally, I would want to get to know the person over Gaia, IM, and e-mailo before I gave out my address.
That could work. Just be friends until both people are comfortable enough to give out the address?

There was also a comm. called loli_of_letters or something. I had a penpal but eventually we stopped talking because daily life stuff was keeping her from the computer.

I would prefer to do that, as I have heard of some scary stories of people giving out their addresses to people online. Also my parents would not approve.
However, if someone wants to be my email-pal I am all for it! It sounds like fun.
