Hey guys, your friendly neighborhood Roleplay Mod here! This is a thread for those of you that plan to start a roleplay. The mods highly encourage any roleplay! We love roleplays! But of course, there has to be rules for everything.

If you're making a roleplay here, make sure all of your RP's rules fit this list of restrictions:

0) Make sure it's a roleplay, not an advertizement for one, or something else. This is just a teensy reminder more than anything. If it's not a roleplay it will be moved elsewhere.

1) You must have a rule about PG-13 rating. It is against Gaia's rules (and the guild's rules) to have anything higher.

2) Make sure you are not encouraging cybering (i.e., "If the romance is geting too sensual, take it to the PMs"). Again, it's against Gaia's rules.

3) You must have a rule about godmodding. This has really become a problem in the RPs I've been involved with, and it ruins the fun for everyone! Remember, "don't assume, attempt."

If your RP doesn't fit all three, I'll have to send you a PM that looks somewhat like this (with personalization, of course):

But, first and foremost, you need to make sure you are putting a ROLEPLAY here, not an advertisement or anything else. According to Kitty, the previous Guild Captain:

I thought things were pretty clear, but I suppose we've seemed to be having a few problems with what kind of topics belong in the Role Playing Subforum, so I'll be making a list of topics that belong in here, to clear things up a bit. Because, apparently, they need to be.

1.) Group Role Play Threads
2.) Private Role Play Threads
3.) One on One Role Play Threads

That's it. Nothing else. That means no advertising threads about anything will go here, even if it's about a role play. It will go in the OOC subforum.

Alright, here's how it goes. Gaia is a kiddie site, and I'm having frequent problems with a few people on this.

PG-13 means no cybering, no otherwise inappropriate romantic situations, and no extreme or graphic violence (If you start going into extreme detail about gruesome attacks and the bloodshed and gore that follows - or really anything that would be better suited to be in a rated R horror flick - then you're going too far). It is also against the rules to tell people to take it to PMs. That's bad. Very bad.

I don't want Koiji shut down, so I want all of you to follow these rules very closely. I will give everyone one week. If there is any active topic that has any rules broken inside, it will be promptly deleted after one week. The owner will recieve a warning. If they continue behavior, they will be banned.

I'm tired of reminding you all. Please, follow the PG-13 rule. I really don't want to ban anyone.
