Where can I find some male clothing of the gothic variety? smile
I'm especially looking for band shirts at this point, but anything would be nice.

As I've said in many threads, how and where you find goth clothes largely depends on how open your interpretation of "goth fashion" is.
I buy almost all of my (casual) clothes at Levi's Outlets and the GAP, and most people would consider my way of dress fairly gothic.

But I hate Old Navy. I don't know why, but I get all "ick" whenever I walk in there.

There are more than a few T-shirt outlets with some goth groups available. I bought my "Bela Lugosi's Dead" shirt at such a place. Hot Topic has also started carrying some Siouxsie shirts, and has long had Cure shirts. As I've mentioned elsewhere- for period clothing, I highly suggest you ask around at local theaters. Many small, town theaters will sell old costumes every so often, and these sales are real killings. Real moleskin tophats for $10, military clothes, victorian suits and dresses, gloves, boots, canes, coats... it's pretty awesome. I bought two full Victorian suits and a top hat for $50 at one such event.

I always go directly to the band websites for shirts. They have the best selection. Or ebay always works. And I actually did see a siouxsie shirt in hot topic, but they have little else there...ipso facto has quite a few band shirts, but mostly only of siouxsie, cure, and skinny puppy. :/

If you want to do either a classic goth or a deathrocker look, the beauty of either one is that you can make gothy stuff with standard clothes (in which case, your local thrift store may help).
For example, you could take a leather jacket and spice it up with pins or studs, take a shirt and cut designs in them (perhaps stitching the cut together with safety pins, then layering it with a differently-colored shirt for contrast), use fabric paint, etc - whatever your imagination prompts.

Just asking too. What are the gothic styles available for males? I do see a lot of styles available for females(e.g. Victorian goth, etc) but it seems that for males there is only a limited selection. Plus the fact that I don't really dress up(I am usually in black t-shirts and jeans), sometimes makes me feel "un-goth"(forgive the term) and overly normal . Any advice on outfits or maybe a general theme is helpful.

Any advice on outfits or maybe a general theme is helpful. Most major gothic fashions have both male and female styles. Here are a few examples of male clothing... Romanti-Goth If you're interested in the Romanti-goth style, you may want to look up photos of Oscar Wilde for a bit more insperation! Cyber Lolita/Kodona/Dandy If you're able to get your hands on a copy, Gothic and Lolita Sewing is an excellent magazine for Lolita/Kodona/Dandy fashion. They have patterns and detailed instructions too (the instructions are illustrated, so even somone who can't read Japanese should be able to understand them), in case you want to try your hand at sewing! General Gothic Wear As for hair, I found this photo of Ego Likeness and CXS hanging out together. Look at all the pretty hair. o.o I may post more examples of different styles (corperate, vampyric, victorian, 80's, etc.) a bit later on. In the meanwhile, if you check out different websites selling gothic clothing, you may be able to derive some inspiration from them! heart

I'm no expert on where to find band tees, but for clothing in general, thrift shops are your best friend! Though some things may need minor repairs, alterations, or general embellishment, your local thrift shops are great resources!
If you're at all interested in romanti-goth styles, then I also must add that checking out the women's section may be benificial to you. The women's section usually has flouncy poet shirts and such.
Also, as GilAskan mentioned before, check out normal stores at your local mall, especially if they're having a sale. You may be able to find some pretty cool things there! heart

I've seen band t-shirts at music stores. I can't think of any major music store names but perhaps downtown of where you live has music and record stores.
I hope it helped.
