If you have no clue what I'm talking about, it's free software that lets you make your own RPGs. It is incredibly powerful, and all you need is a little bit of programming experience. But never fear! This topic was created so you can post problems for your game. Post problems such as not understanding a command, needing ideas for a game, or just talking about your own projects. I hope everyone takes full advantage of this topic.


BTW- If anyone needs to know the website where you can get the Toolkit, this is it. The website will give you free hosting on your game. So, let the posts begin!

welll.....first off it takes forever to walk + how to make the battles and fighting and the character changing/adding is hard

are you using v3? Try v2. I find version 3 is more buggy than version 2. Version 2 is more user-friendly than v3, too. I have both versions, though.

Im downloading the toolkit right now xd Im giving up on the final fantasy 7 idea. To complex for me at the moment. Can you guys help me come up with a story for it?

Sure! Do you want a standard RPG to save the world kinda plot, or do you wanna be more creative with it? Oh, a little bit of advice. The default battle system is crap. I'll send you a new one when one of my teammates gets done with it.

The download didnt work gonk Its on my comp but the instalation thing says its corrupt so I have to try it again. I tried downloading Ver 3. Should I try Ver 2 and see if that works?

Yeah, try ver 2. Oh, and the plot could go like this:

You're a theif who plans to steal the world's main source of power(in this case, maybe a magic crystal?) In the process, you learn the crystal holds Death itself. It seems that Death was a corrupt spirit that had been imprisoned to prevent unnessecary(sp?) chaos. Death gos berserk after you release him and, using the power he bided during his imprisonment, nearly destroys the spirit of Life. Life comes to you and says you need to undo the evil that you have caused(isn't that typical?) You take on the mantle of Life and seek out to imprison Death again.

This stuff is gold! You should pay me to write suff like this! jk. Anyway, how does that sound?
