Sasha took in a deep breath as she walked along the shore, the water just barely reaching her. The wind through her hair was nice, but everything smelled a little funny because of the recent rain. She was thankful it had stopped, though she didn't mind much, seeing how she could prevent the rain drops from falling on her. She held her hand beside her over the water, as though running her hands over a bar. The water slowly came up to her hand, as though magnetically attached to it.

Lance stopped by at the road near the beach. "Why do I always end up here when I just want to drive?" he asked himself. He looked out of his window and saw that the rain has stopped. He turned off his engine and leaned backwards in his seat and though about a lot of things. "Everytime I go somewhere further than my home I end up seeing other people with powers... Is it dumb luck or am I a part of it?" He ended up leaning forward over the wheel. "Why is life so complicated?" and he sighed

Sasha stopped walking as the water simply rose above her hand and formed into a kind of whip, though it only hovered where it was, eventually twirling itself around the girl, forming a kind of spiral-like cage that simply flew back up into the air and back into the water. She smiled, her little bird-like companion forming that she climbed onto and sat on, resting her head on it. She thought she heard an engine somewhere, though she quickly dismissed the thought; if someone else was really here, she'd have to act quickly.

Lance looked to the water "Why isnt life such as easy as the water?" he said to himself. He stepped out of his car and leaned on the roof. "All these things... am I one of them or not?" he asked himself. So many questions but not one answer could he find. He took his book from his pocket and searched a quote about questions ... "Questions are easy to make, but the answers are hard to find." "Why ask if you won't get to know the answer" he sighed after those two quotes. He locked the car and sat against the door facing the water. "Maybe their right, I should ask less and see more, or something like that" he mumbled.

Sasha held a hand out in front of her, manipulating the water a bit and creating all sorts of little spirals and orbs and such with it, smiling as she did; she always had so much fun for some reason. Then she remembered the car and quickly stopped, glancing around; she couldn't. . .see anyone. But when she double-checked she spotted Lance. "Mm. . .wonder if I should try again. . .but if Shin failed, then what chance do I have?" she said to herself, lying on the bird's back, using its head as a support to sit up.

"So...Why're we here again?" asked Joseph, an eyebrow raised as he walked behind a brunette girl. For one reason or another, Sendoran had asked the two to go to Kamada and check something out. It was only a last-minute thing, which was a bit unusual. Sendoran usually tells us ahead of time. Then he smirked. Does she want us to start another riot?

"Because," started Caroline, "Sendoran told us to, and what she says, goes." Unfortunately. she darkly thought, annoyed at the fact she had to serve the shape-shifter. She stopped walking and observed the area. It was pretty much deserted since it was so cloudy and windy. Her eyes did another quick scan as she spotted two people and her eyes narrowed. Caroline immediately recognized them from that fight a while ago. A grin tugged on her lips. "Well, well, another fight?" she asked and motioned towards the two people.

If possible, Joseph's grin grew wider and seemed more mean than arrogant. "Good. 'Cause I'm gonna finish that fight with the guy over there. You'll battle that girl again," he replied.

Sasha hugged her little water bird tightly around its neck, smiling pleasantly before she jumped off of it and walked over to the water's edge again, squatting down and missing with the water. "We're not alone, huh? I can tell," she said quietly, looking up at her giant bird and giving it a smile, which is cocked its head at.

When Lance looked at the water he saw a bird like creature with a girl on it. It took a moment before he realized it was Sasha. He jumped up and walked towards her. "Hey, why do I run in to you here?" he asked with a smile. "You know, I see you at some moments, but never got to know your name"

Sasha blinked and looked up, then returned Lance's smile. "I'm Sasha. And I'm here 'cause, well. . .I'm here. Used to have a house around here somewhere," she answered, straightening up and brushing off the little sand that was clinging to her clothes.

"Since that girl isn't completely human, she probably knows we're here," concluded Caroline, "We spent too much time waiting."

Joseph just shrugged, unfazed. "Then I guess the other guy doesn't quite know just yet," he replied and stretched his arms a bit. He smirked and looked at Caroline. "Have fun." Then he disappeared, reappearing next to Lance. "Had a fun time last time?"

Caroline blinked. Sometimes, that boy could seem so much like a child yet at the same time, something different. She shook her head and conjured up a throwing knife made of stone. I wonder what shall happen this time? she curiously pondered as she threw the knife at Sasha's neck.

Sasha quickly brought up a shield of water against the knife thrown at her, turning in the direction it had come from. "Ah, see? Knew we weren't alone," she said softly. She spared a glare towards Joseph; unfortunately, Lance would have to fight him on his own. She highly doubted that Caroline would leave her alone. Sighing a little, the water shield wrapped itself around the stone knife and crushed it into little bits and pieces.

"You knew?" he asked surprised. "Damn, not another fight." He quickly grabbed to his inhaler and took the last shot of it. "That should do for now. Glad that the doc gave me another pack" he said after he threw the empty pack in the water. "By the way Sasha, you have a plan for these two?"
PostPosted: Sun Nov 11, 2007 1:09 pm

"Yup. I knew. Comes with the whole magical powers deal. You can sense others with them," Sasha replied. She looked at Lance curiously; would he really managed? If he had to use an inhaler, something was obviously wrong. She sighed; she'd have to figure out a way to see if she could fix that for him. "Plan? Mm. . .nope, not really. That's Alex's thing. Ah, but hopefully, it should go just a tad better tihs time."

Joseph tilted his head and scrunched up his face. "Mind taking these two apart?" he asked Caroline, who was already there.

"Be my guest," she replied.

He grinned, delighted. "Good." Joseph shoved Lance yards away from Sasha, it was all a blur. He calmly walked over to Lance. "Let's start where we left off."

Caroline bent down and stared at the crumbled pieces of her throwing knife. All well, it's not like she put that much effort into it anyways. Her eyes stared at Sasha and quickly lunged, aiming for a punch at her face.
