Does it bug the living piss out of anyone else when people say that?
It's like a) I'm not emo. b) even if I was, the last thing I want is someone talking down to me like that, like they have life all figured out and I don't.
Anyway, it bugs me.

Not really, 9/10 its people just having a laugh and making a joke at your expense like friends do to one another.
The other one time, its said by someone that probably doesn't even know who Iron Maiden are, so I'm hardly gonna pay any attention to them.

Well, I haven't gotten that yet. Though me and my friend call each other emo constantly. We fight over who is 'emo-er'. Then again, we also have online Pepsi vs. Mountain Dew wars. Dew always wins, because pepsi is so emo. rofl
