I dont see why it got bad reviews, likely because you actually have to try and fly the dragon in this game, rather then in other flight sims where you can haphazardly do so.
I love the game, it makes me think of what a Rogue Squadren game would be like on the PS3. 3nodding They were smart and kept the same feel so it really helps 3nodding

The issue with reviews is that they are alwys biast, I dont care who they are or what they say, they will always lean one way or another. Whether it be due to system preference, or even game type preference. Then you have the group of people that love to rip at games yet couldnt program themselves out of a cubicle if their lives depended on it 3nodding

Its really just a way to bash the PS3. I mean no one can really deny that since the price of the PS3 was announced back in the day that anyone who didn't like the PS series has tried at anything to attack it. So PS3 games are always going to be graded harshly compared to Wii and 360 games.

This game made both myself and an EB employee believe they should make another Rogue Squadron (because thats what this felt like while playing, very tight and excellent game controls) for the PS3, you could do the whole bloody Death Star and NOT have to break it up into small missions.
The future of all gaming on the price point is going to hover around this mark for a long long time. All next gen consols will have about the same price tag unless Nintendo does what it did this round and put out a slightly lower key system.
On that note, I heard, while browsing, that the EB I was in had more Wii's come back in then ANY other consol, well other then broken 360's. MOST he said was to put the $$ to a PS3 3nodding
OOOh and on the 360 note, this is kinda cute, the demo system they have at the store, is dead.. anyone wanna take a while guess why? xd

Such a perfect way to advertise the system "we cant show you any demos on the 360 because its died and the system has a 33% failure rate" rofl "But here is the PS3, runs hot but still going strong!" xd

I know.
Whenever I got to GS this one guy there is always talking about the PS3. If he's not saying the best out there hardware wise, he's saying how he took his PSP to a friends house to try out the PS3s "Dash Board". Yes he calls the PS3s U/I Dash Board. And says he doesn't see the point in spending $600 for it.
I spent higher then $800, but under $900 on my PS3. While adding some some stuff to see what I was going to spend on my 360 I found out due to Microsoft OVER PRICING on there accessories I would be spending over $900 on my 360, on accessories that would make my 360 do what my PS3 can already do.
Come on M$! $100 for a 20 GB hard drive?

But thats what MS does best, and people said that Sony over priced things, when you add in what you get with Sony and then try to compare you end up with your little issue but people dont want to look at that because you would have to admit MS isnt really cheaper.
I heard a guy in EB today (dropped off a resume) say cause he had a PS3 fail within 6 weeks (first the EB had heard ever failing), he returned it to wal mart and never wanted another.. yet he wanted to play russian roulet with a 360 with its massive failure rate. A few fried systems is believable, but to dissmiss the system on that when he could replace it for free was just foolish.

I think it’s more along the lines of the consoles cheaper so therefore accessories won't be adding up much.
I will say that throughout my years of game consoles, the 360 confuses the hell out of me when it comes to accessories, and what the hell comes in its packs. To me a lot of the 360s accessories are redundant, such as the battery pack charger, and plug and play. Just do the plug and play IMO.
Please keep me informed on your EB job journey. I've been meaning to apply at GS since the age of 16 *now 19* and I've never gave them the application back XD

I dont even try to follow what MS puts out there, mainly because I dont plan on getting a 360 (no appeal for me)
Oh I will, I do hope I get hired, im already on first name basis with the manager and assitant manager... yes I go there.. alot ninja

I wasn't a fan of the original Xbox; I in fact won it from Mountain Dew and then had a god-awful experience with it. Now my cousins and I co share theirs. I have all the Xbox games I want MAYBE there are a few but there far from me getting them now.
There are more 360 games I want, some which I crave for *mainly DOA*. I did promise myself that I would buy any 360 games that were going to hit that PH state, which is why I own DOA4. I'm trying not to get a lot of PH, PC, and GH games this gen.
Since the DS and PSP, I have a habit of trying to get a console within its first year, so that if there’s a game that I want I can just pick it up, instead of being all OMG there’s a PS3 game I WANT, but I have to save up for PS3 crying crying crying crying I learned this with my PSP. When I first got my PSP I for the longest time didn't have any games for it. Within the first year of owning it I only had 2. But I was more then happy to have owned one in July 06 when Tekken DR and Valkyrie Profile Lenneth came out ^_____^
I used to know the AM over at my local GS, then he went away and then I found him at another GS. The ones over here are kind of... meh at most. I don't go in there much due to the fact I like to get my game sealed, which is something they don't seem to do. I prefer to just get it at Best Buy or Circuit City. CC usually has sales for certain new game releases usually $10 off.
I'm more then positive I can do a job at GS it seems hella easy. Then again after working at a CS job for passports I'm sure I'll be able to handle anything.

The only reviews I trust are X-Play. They are accurate most of the time. Except when the do anime based games. No matter what they say I will still buy them.
I want Lair but I don't have a PS3, nor will I be getting one.
I'm gonna get a 360 for X-mas.

well I doubt you will ever see Lair expand off the PS3, so if you want to play it you will have to somehow get a PS3 or access to one. Honestly I think x-play was way off with Lair, sometimes I think they are just too damned picky and let their own preconsieved ideas influence their rating.
