I know that almost everyone hates richard but I still like him (when he's not being an a**) I just got done with Cerulean Sins and the part were he gets off of his high horse at the feast and helps with saving asher shows that if he'd just get over all the s**t he'd be one of the best characters, I think.

OoOo I started out liking him... then he became an arsehole.. now I pretty much hate him...
I made a perfect person for him... unfortunatly for Richard, I made it a male ^^ Amuses the hell outta me though.

I loved Richard when he was first introduced in COD, but I started getting disapointed when he started getting angrier and angrier and taking it out on others. At one point I thought I hated him, that things would be easier without him there, but I don't think that anymore.
Richard is a lot like Anita, more so than ever after they from the Triumverate with Jean-Claude. Just like Anita he can be bitchy, only wants things to go his way, and can be amazingly stubborn and spiteful. Finally there's one man that will directly oppose Anita...she needs more opposition.
Richard is not a bad person he is just confused. Imagine yourself in his place; you grew up with your own ideals, your own idea about how good people act, and then you're expected just to throw all those beliefs out the window at the drop of a hat. Yes, Richard doesn't want to share Anita, who would want to share the person they really love with others? It would still grind into you, even if it was for the greater good. Richard's own judgements and fears get in the way sometimes too, but who hasn't that happened to? Besides he wants to be human, and realizing he can't have what he must desires eats away at him. Now please imagine again; you're standing at the sidelines watching supposedly normal people together, and feeling torn because you know that you're diffrent, and this diffrence makes you alone at times, and not only that but there are people that hate you just for existing.
Despite all the angst, Richard is truly a good, honest man that's trying to sort out all the complications and problems in his life. The problem is, the one thing that makes him worse, is Anita. Because the two will probably never give each other up completely, they are constantly harming the other.
I love Richard and his Boy Scout ways. I just hope he'll be able to sort out his life's drama before something unfortunate happens.

I've always liked Richard :3
I like literally all the characters and always have
Honestly I think I always will
I mean yea he does have a lot of bad points but he does have good points too
I don't hate Richard cuz he's angrier and bitchy
But it takes a lot for me to hate someone
