Our band does not go to an actual camp for band camp. Instead, we use our band room and a field a little further away. Seeing that most people talk about going somewhere for band camp, I was wondering, does anyone else not actually go to a camp?

I don't. We have to use our baseball field for practise this year. Not entirely sure why, either.

me! lol we don't really go to a band camp, but we call it camp cause it's just like a day camp lol i wish we'd actually go to a camp, but we don't. ^_^ it's still uber fun though!

Our band doesn't go to an actual camp either...we just use the band room, the basketball courts, the field, and the lunch quad. xp

We use the band room, cafeteria, and the parking lot which has the yard lines marked off in red paint.

We use the football field, cafeteria and band room.
Although i didn't go for one year. Had to this year.

We use the band room, the stadium, and our field. The stadium has an ok field, but I hate our field because it's horrible for marching. On Thursday I stepped in a ditch, stabbed myself in the mouth with my mouthpiece, and came very close to rolling my ankle.

We only go away to a local university for four days out of our ten of band camp.
The rest of the time, we use our band room, a parking lot that's (suckily) painted like a football field, and our actual football field.

We go to camp one week and then practice in class, and do routines outside.

we use are middle school parking lot and band room

we use our band room, a field across the street (When we go there we hold up traffic and march over)and parking lot "field" for our 14 day camp, plus sometimes another 4 july camp things and our gym for for mini camp which is 4 days... always tons of fun at spring-ford

Parking lot from 7 AM - 8 PM for one week during the summer. Ugggh. But you get pretty fit.

parking lot, chorus room (woodwinds/ flutes and pics), lobby(trumpets) , random hallways (mellos, clarinets, saxes) , shop classroom (for the low brass woot!) the island (drumline), and a random hillside (brass). We pretty much use all the school grounds for two weeks. It's awesome. :] Next year we may have our own asphalt lot thing that only the band uses because we had to call a towing service because someone was parked where we were practicing.

My band uses our stadium, the newly made practice field (which is total CRAP, by the way), and the band room which is terribly designed for band 'camp.'
This year, though, we didn't even plan on having a marching season PERIOD because of all of these district issues we'd been fighting for YEARS, but FINALLY got that all settled and started a marching season a MONTH into school. XD So we were actually TWO months behind everyone else.... Ah, the memories. sweatdrop
