Beneath Takijinsei's stone spires, the office of the Hokage is seated some ways behind a cascading curtain of water spilling over from the upper cliffs of the mountainside. Those who approach this building still follow a path leading up to a somewhat more compact construction in contrast to its predecessor. This devoted administration building is shorter and made up of a few structures rather than one massive structure. With the center and foremost imposing structure housing the office building on the third floor instead of any dreaded twelfth floor. The main building features the more elaborate rooftop and a round, crest of black lacquered wood with a large red 火 emboldened on the front. Four additional administrative wings are attached to the main structure with offices, storage, conference areas, other administrative accessories: one additional building immediately to the left and right of the main and the taller, additional structures seated behind.
With reconstruction from the original building, there was a lot of space leftover. After the long, tedious back and forth between architects and village administration was over, the space was renewed with natural elements of the forest. Trees with growing red leaves and others that sprout numerous red and pink flowers were arranged around the building and property if to remind guests of a proverbial fire burning.

Even with the hood up on his track suit, people still gawked at him. It was annoying, but to be fair when you are over seven and a half feet tall and wearing a yellow and red tracksuit with the words 'Karuto's Muscle Mansion' on it, it's kinda hard to go unnoticed. Whatever then, let them stare- at least they were keeping their distance these days. The sleeveless top did little to cover the nub that was formerly his right arm. The appendage ended just above where his elbow would be, and while time had smoothed over the wound, it was still an ugly reminder of the price paid for the years of peace. Karuto didn't mind though- it had actually given him a unique challenge to overcome in his training. Now he didn't even need to tie a hand behind his back when he fought!
As he rounded the stairs to her office, he fished a protein bar out of his pocket and began to munch on the delicious granola. Now-a-days he actually had to prepare for their little meetings. Used to be he didn't have to exert much effort with Lahlil, but she had taken to their thrice-weekly work out sessions with surprising enthusiasm. Today they were scheduled to go for a morning run as Karuto had deemed her Cardio-Vascular endurance as, to use the medical term, really f*cking bad. He finished his bar just as he got to her office and, without hesitating, threw the door open and barged in "Gooooood morning!" He said with his normal enthusiasm "Let's get those little leg's a-movin'. We've got several miles to kill and not a lot of time to do them in."

tabUsing a stack of papers as a pillow, Lahlil was sleeping soundly at her desk when there came a thunderous booming in her ears. Bolting upright in surprise Lahlil threw up her hands ready to drowsily put up a fight. "I don't use pastels I... I.." Looking around in a dazed confusion, the realization that she had spent the night overworking slowly dawned on her. Now Karuto was here for her training here she was still unwashed from yesterday! With a terrified Yelp the young Kage dove under her desk and frantically attempted to mat down a rogue cowlick. "J-Just a minute! Would you wait outside really quick? I just need to work out something really fast!" Tiny little fingers searching with blind desperation for a scrunchie to put up her hair with.
As soon as her patch job was complete the young kage shyly crawled from her hiddy hole to present herself to her 'teacher'. It still felt strange to her that someone who was supposed to be the strongest in the village would need to help from someone to train still, but as much as she wanted to believe she could be a shield for everyone Lahlil was far from swole to put it in Karuto's definition. As a matter of fact her tiny frame was scarcely able to lift around her piles of paperwork! If it weren't for Gado she probably wouldn't know what to do. Which is exactly why Lahlil was determined to make this happen. "Schedule is all clear! Are we ready to head out...? S-sensei."

Ishiba looked about nervously, uncertain of who or what she was actually looking for. Her mother having drunkenly blurted it out didn't help the matter any. "I-I'm pretty sure I got the right place..." she quietly said to herself. Despite her calm demeanor, and seemingly neutral expression, it was quite clear she was utterly at a loss. "M-Maybe I should just ask someone... But they all look so scary..." she said quietly to herself, though to make matters worse: She wasn't even sure who she was supposed to ask. No one looked particularly friendly, at least to her anyway.
(Eep! Awkward start, a weird interface I'm not used to using anymore; and a relatively difficult character to play interestingly. Talk about jumping into the deep end... XD) Ishiba Ochita is a physically weak looking girl with long straight black hair and brilliant green eyes. Couple this with her relatively small frame and her strange ability to hide herself in plain-sight, the other kids weren't the nicest to her; constantly calling her a ghost or a monster. Thought it never visibly bothered her, it was utterly heartbreaking for her in actuality.

tabOnly slightly struggling with a stack of books, the Hokage Clone came careening about like a circus clown trying to keep her work from falling too far to one side. The lot of good it did her however when it all came tumbling down after rounding a corner too quickly. Scrolls, books, and ledgers filled with the boring and tedious musings of running a village day to day now lay scattered across the floor in every which way. "Oh marbles.." Biting her cheek out of frustration the woman started to clean yo the mess when she noticed a little girl standing in front of her. Small frame and worried expression on her face only brought a smile to Lahlil's as she reminded her a bit of her younger self. "Excuse me... hello? You look a little lost, is there maybe something I can help you with?" Hoping to instill a sense of trust despite being a stranger Lahlil extended a hand out to the girl. In retrospect it was a good thing that she had been born clumsy as if it weren't for her mistake it was likely that she might not have even noticed the girl, a fact that she would never forgive herself for as she took a lot of pride in giving care to those who believed themselves forgotten.

"Eep!" Ishiba exclaimed as the towering pile of moving scrolls and books came tumbling down. If it weren't for the fact that she was visibly shaking now, the look of suprise on her face when she noticed the small woman would have been giggle-worthy. "H-hello... M-my m-mother said t-to come h-here to f-find a t-teacher, b-because it's w-what she h-had done when s-she was l-little; s-so she -t-thought it'd w-work for m-me too..." She somehow managed to stammer out. Ishiba then nervously took the small woman's hand in her own, body still shaking. "I-I'm I-Ishiba, b-by the w-way." She said, clearly trying to keep some semblance of her stature.

Ishiba is a small young girl, with a suprisingly lithe frame. Her hair is raven black, and reaches past her shoulders, in a completely straight dignified manner. Her eyes are emerald green, and shine with hope. Her voice is soft and small, but still somehow carries rather well.

"Oh, hello there!" A young intern at a desk squeaked as she noticed the man standing before her. "Are you here to see Lady Hokage?"
"I've returned from my latest mission. I'm here to turn in my report to Lahlil." Kikan replied in a flat tone.
"O-okay... Well, Lady Lahlil is in her office. You can go back." The girl snapped, clearly annoyed.
Kikan merely nodded and began to walk around the edge of the reception desk. He detested not being able to simply walk into the Hokage's office. Pulling a scroll out from a pouch on the back edge of his hip, Kikan arrived at the Hokage's office door. With one hand holding the scroll, he raised the other arm.
Knock, Knock, Knock.
Kikan rapped his middle knuckle against the sturdy wooden door. After a moment of silence, Kikan let out a sigh and shook his head. Without missing a beat, Kikan reached out and grasped the doorknob. As the door swung open, Kikan could see a very busy Lahlil clone sitting at her desk, mulling over paperwork. He figured she was so engrossed in her work that she didn't even notice someone was at the door.
"I've returned from my mission Lah- er, Lady Hokage." Kikan said sheepishly.
Taking a few steps toward her desk, he held the scroll aloft for Lahlil to take. He had heard that she had something special for him; as jneasy as that made him. Surprises aren't something he quite enjoys. He almost didn't notice the young girl in the room, who appeared to be unsuccessful just as he had been in getting the Hokage's attention. To make themselves known, Kikan let go of the scroll, letting it fall to Lahlil's desk with a clatter.
tabLahlil couldn't help but be brought to tears over just how adorable the young girl in front of her was. It did come with a bit of a trouble however that all over teachers were about to have their own hands full. There was no way she could ask them to take on another yet another student on top of what she already placed on her shoulders. Well... I suppose I could always take her under my wing. Yeah, I think I could make a pretty good teacher in fact! How hard could it even be? As the young Kage was about to answer her question there came the sounds of another requiring her attention, Kikan, one of her newly appointed Jounin returning from a mission. Just the person she was waiting for to! Turning back to little Ishiba Lahlil gave another warm smile. "Well that's easy! I'll take over your teaching in just a moment okay? Just let me meet with this goofball behind me really quick."
Flashing the girl a wink Lahlil turned back to face Kikan. "You know Kikan, you have a real knack for showing up right when I need you. I'm sure you curious about what surprise I have cooked up for you! Well...." One delicate hand rummaging about her pile of knocked over paperwork it took a bit before she pulled out a coffee stained piece of parchment. "Well! Lemme start off by saying out proud I am of you. You've shown a great deal of strategic genius and after evaluating your mission reports I've decided that you are ready to lead your own squad. Strength wise they are all capable, though they lack the experience to apply that training. I'd like you to take them under your wing." Handing the ruined piece of paper off to him Lahlil continued. "Here is all their information as well as your first mission together! I've been receiving reports of possible wild animals in the nearby forests threatening villagers and travelers. Your task will be to lead your team to discover the truth behind this statement and eliminate any threats to the village! Clear?"

Kikan was shocked. Lead a team? Him? Kikan's black and white eyes had been open wide, but now they had returned to their normal, seeming lax state. Lowering his arm, Kikan took a step toward Lahlil.
"Lah- I mean, Lady Hokage, are you certain? I don't believe I'm the teaching type." He tried to argue.
Taking a moment to glance at the young girl by Lahlil's side, Kikan was filled with questions. If she could teach, could he? Why would she assign a team to a recently promoted Jōnin? Kikan shook his his softly. This was an order from the Hokage, and also one of his friends. How could he ever hope to change her mind?
"It appears... I have no say in the matter." Kikan said with his eyes closed. "Very well. Who are these Genin?"
Kikan accepted the stain-covered scroll and opened it immediately. He hadn't heard of these young shinobi, but then again he never usually inquired about the younger generation.
"Understood, Lady Hokage. I shall depart at once." Kikan stated in a dull tone.
With a small bow, Kikan turned to leave. He couldn't believe Lahlil was sticking him with a team. Since when had he ever struck her as a tutor? She must see something in him, but whatever that was, he certainly didn't know what it was.
Though the shaking of her body has stopped, the look on Ishiba's face was still clearly wrought with some kind of combination of worry and anxiety. Though she seemed to have spared a moment to take something of a quick glance around, Ishiba quickly started becoming nervous again; and so hid behind the woman the strange man referred to as 'Hokage". She was somewhat familiar with the term, but the weight of it, to her, wasn't anything much more then any other title. I guess she must have done something pretty good to get a title like that... I wonder if I could ever get a title someday? She silently mouthed to herself. Slowly, Ishiba looked up at the lady with something of a glimmer of curiousity in her eyes.

At the very least, if anything was to be accomplished today it was going to be the promised act of forwarding a recommendation. But not yet on paper. The little note about the missing S-class individual was mostly all the paper she would rather deal with for the moment. Sadayo couldn't count on the real Lahlil to be available at any given moment. Many people needed her with the position she was in. It was almost too bad Sadayo could just project herself in such a way that she could appear at a given place she knew. Oh wait, the dots in her head were linging up with the notes and fine detail of a special skill for just such an occasion. She was proud of herself for reading up on it some time ago but cursed herself for not actually learning it. She couldn't permit herself to plainly pass the gatekeeper, a secretary, who was minding the path to Lahlil's work space. Sadayo chose to give her message, a reccomendation for Ji, to the secretary with the pressing requirement it reach Lahlil as soon as possible. The puppeteer was also certain to review and even sign what note the secretary scrawled up. "Do let the Lady know I'm going to look into this missing persons case. The case regarding the S-class teacher who went missing back on the Islands." She adds, raising her arm out from under her cape and flicking the little paper describing the request in her hand. "All witness statements say the same thing and the artist who did his sketch wasn't that bad." What Sadayo didn't say was the part about how the total lack of information left by her predecssors was a joke even if the timing was poor. She might have just been thinking selfishly, however. "Please also forward another message." Sadayo motioned the need for paper and a pen and began to write out one long message. tab "Masato. KEEP MY BABY WELL AND OUT OF TROUBLE! OR ELSE. ♥ " The first line was underlined well to keep the receipts focus fixed to that one, singular request. Followed by the drawing of a little heart that was arguably a playful note alluding to a mending ties or plainly a disguise to an otherwise, straightforward hostile assertion that something bad would happen to Masato if something bad happened to Thalia. "Now. You give my baby all the hugs and kisses and assure her that Mommy loves her EVERY WAKING MOMENT OF YOUR EVER-LOVING LIFE and will be back.♥ - Sadayo" The woman's maternal, gushing phrases (and storming directional guidance) didn't match the detached expression on her face as she slid the paper and pen to the secretary. tab "Thank you. Holding back a giggle Lahlil wondered just what Kikan would have to say about that but choose to let him go instead.

Though the sudden appearance of another one of the short lady caught her off guard a moment, Ishiba quickly pulled herself back together; well, for the most part anyway. "O-okay..." She said, taking the short lady's hand. Ishiba was experiencing some kind of combination of confusion and... joy? She wasn't much too sure herself, but she had learned over time to not really question her emotions much; it only led to places somehow yet more confusing.
Ishiba is a small young girl, with a suprisingly lithe frame. Her hair is raven black, and reaches past her shoulders, in a completely straight dignified manner. Her eyes are emerald green, and shine with hope. Her voice is soft and small, but still somehow carries rather well.
