Sheik: Guy or Girl?

Sheik is Zelda in disguise.... o_O;;; It says so in the game and the manga. I know that the manga isn't completly correct.... but still it was pretty good.... has anyone read the four swords manga? Vaati has a different name in it... o.o

Yes, we've, um, come to that conclusion :3; The discussion now is whether or not Zelda actually becomes male when she takes on the guise of Sheik.

... And I've only read the OoT manga ; ; *crawls off to find a dark corner to die in*

Sheiks a guy. Zelda needed a good enough disguise and one that Ganondorf might not expect. So, changing gender probably made the disguise harder to figure out.

The only people who'd think Sheik is female are the people who either think we mean Zelda, since Shiek isn't really Shiek and his wang doesn't count, or are desperate that the character they had the hots for was female.

Of course, the only people who'd think Sheik is male are the people with a brain in their skull or who're desperate to have the character htey have to hots for be male...

I've read the Oot, MM, OoA, OoS and some of the FFS manga... I even own some it.... o.o And I don't think Zelda becomes a male when she changes into Sheik.... o.O And in the manga when Impa makes zelda into sheik.... I think she does some woogle magic or something and makes her think that she's a sheikah and is a guy and yeah....o.o

Man when I found out it was Zelda I was like 'EEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW!!!!". I think Link was probably grossed out too....Zelda can pass as a man? That's pretty bad, there.

Sheik is a girl... its Zelda wrapped in bandages... she purposely made herself LOOK like a guy in order to have a more convincing disguise.

yeah, in the shadow temple part sheik says, ''this is my problem'' or something like that, and zelda was raized by impa who lived in kakiriko village. since it was destroyed zelda though impa was dead. and the rest pretty much, explains itself.

Honestly, I don't care what NoA says. He looks like a guy, (even in SSMB:M he sounsd like a guy, however effeminte), in the Manga, he's referred to as either Shiiku or 'Kare' (Japanese for 'he/him') and in the original OoT, Navi constantly referrs to him as a guy (now in the umpteen re-releases, they really just use his name).

I assume they called Sheik a girl in SSMB:M because they wanted to avoid a rucuss with parents.

Zelda is a female. The character, Sheik, is a male. When Zelda transforms, she turns into Sheik, a completely different person, with a different look, and a different personality, she becomes a male. You can simply tell by the anatomy that Shiek is a male, and whether it be by magic or not. So, that it my opinion.

I agree. If anyone has read the manga, Zelda's Conscience goes to sleep, and Sheik Wakes up. Impa transforms her into a boy and she can't remembver anything.

well, i haven't played much of OoT, but from Super Smash Bros., i can tell that Sheik is definately a girl.
