Just after I posted the above topic, I was able to buy a variation of Put a Ring on it -- Put A Candy Ring On It for 38,000 platinum. So now I have some cute Alien Eyes. (And the choice of a different shade of green hair. xD) gaia_zurg

Yikes, they really jacked up the price of Mini UFO since I purchased mine. Back when they changed from gold to plat I think I got mine for about 30k plat. I understand some things get more expensive over time, but 1 million is absolutely ridiculous. Greedy people, gross.
As for alien items I'm fond of equipping, I rarely leave my virtual house without: Astral New Zurg Skin and Daughter Nili for the eyes
I was actually making a space and alien item thread called 'cosmic couture' on my main account before I got locked out, haha. It also covered a bunch of the spacey color schemes (starry, lyra, cosmic, etc) which would no doubt get me chastised*, so it is forever in limbo. sweatdrop (*Apparently people call dibs on color scheme threads. What an odd practice.)
I'll get around to making another list of alien items again at some point, probably.

I think that creating a list of space and alien items is a valuable resource -- particularly for those of use who want our avatars to appear alien. Thanks for sharing your interest in this topic, Bear. That is what I enjoy about this Guild -- the interest and desire to communicate about these things that are of significance to us. gaia_zurg ❤️

I just realized I can still make that guide and just post it in this guild as on-topic guide, instead of in the GCD as general guide. I'm already lagging behind more than a year's worth of new item releases for just the space color schemes though, and not even scratched the 2 decades old iceberg's surface of space and alien related items since gaia's conception xD
It'll be the so-manieth WIP in this guild, I suppose. (Speaking of which, I really want to be able to receive guild notifications when a new thread or post is made or the option to subscribe to threads like you can in the main forums. I'm very surprised that's still not a thing.)

It seems a bit strange responding to this topic as a Pirate Mermaid, with a face from Festive Manner to give this avi an angry "Don't mess with me" look. xD
But thinking about this topic has given me the opportunity to say that I would like to see more alien/robotic pet-companions to equip beside my avatar. Compiling a list of these kind of items would be ideal.
((Once I regain ability to post as Zurg mxy, this task could become a reality as mxy has quite an extensive inventory of these type of items, so this knowledge could be shared.)) 👽

I think I really like I Am Alien and its recolors. Or the PlanetX eyes (also the item itself)

I've gotten quite a few of the items I mentioned in my first post through my Quest Thread donations (including the over-priced Mini UFO❤️) and equipping the eyes from Daughter Nili really has made a difference for my Pro-Zurg appearance.
I agree with you, some of the Star Trek related items are quite fun to equip ~
and was a staple for my older 5DMxyzptlk Zurg account, who fancied himself quite the scientist and engineer -- but this was ignored by the Old Zurg Hive high ranking Commander(s) -- who stubbornly gave titles like "Scientist" to their own favorite members in this old Zurg Army.
Thank Goodness the Zurg Hive has changed their philosophy on how members ought to behave -- not all members need to be Zurg, there are no uniform requirements to uphold, and Rank/Position within the Hive is not so stringent and forced upon.
I have in my inventory, Klaxon Alien Wig which is available on the Marketplace for 6p.
This special little item gives plenty of color choices, and provides one the regal brow ridges that have made the Klingon Warrior race so distinguished.❤️
