Talimatrix grapeseed BUT hopefully will be sometime soon.
Right now I am working for a financial institution because I don't dislike the job THAT much and the money is WAY better than any I have made elsewhere. xp
Currently I am in the process of buying a house and once I am settled I plan to start my own daycare there. I have my Early Childhood Education certificate and used to work in childcare for several years and I would like to be my own boss. cool
Running your own daycare would be really neat! Would it be just a home daycare center? Being your own boss is amazing! Especially if you have something that requires a forced schedule. That's one of my biggest issues working from home. Only real restrictions I have is when I book to vend at markets and what time suppliers/post office close at. I use to work in a bilingual daycare center, but I was one of the only people there who spoke english, so I got to deal with the majority of the parents, even though I was an ECA. Dealing with the kids was great, parents not so much. I super respect anyone who can deal with them!
I agree - dealing with kids is awesome but not always the parents - that's why I want to be able to choose what families I work with so I can hopefully have a good relationship with the parents as well as the kids. wink Yes, it would be a daycare/preschool program in my home but it would be licensed and registered.
