Halloween

[The Kawaii Hero]

Every year, the Avengers Halloween Ball was the place to be. And for the first time ever, Spider-Man was going to go.

Which meant, since he was the lowest man on the totem pole, he was in charge of decorations.

"Rassa-frassin' decorating...rassa-frassin' spooky..." he grumbled as he placed pumpkins and ghoulish cutouts of ghosts and witches and zombies and werewolves and vampires and who knew what else Stark had collected over the years. "Really gotta talk to that guy about getting some up-to-date decorations. For futurist, he sure does like reminiscing on Nostalgia Lane a bunch. Oh, cool," he said in excitement as he pulled a old poster out, "Blade in his old costume, with the dorky shades and the green jacket!"

In about an hour's time, the Avengers ballroom looked positively spooky. Except all of the old web decorations seemed a bit ratty and in ill repair. With some quick thinking, Peter shot out some strategically placed webs of his own, blanketing a corner here, covering a chandelier there. Guests would arrive in a few hours, and by that time, the webs would still be up. "And if all else fails, I'll just pop out some more. I am a genius," Spidey gloated, webbing himself a hammock next to the crafts table.

His trademark grin appeared before the rest of his body did, or rather...it faded in like a thick mist solidifying into the trickster's body.

"Ahh, what an interesting holiday the autumn festival has evolved into." His long fingers set a hanging skeleton's bone rattleing against eachother.

[Agent Clinton Barton]

It wasn't normal for Clint to show up early to anything so when Clint walked into Stark towers it was it a bit odd not be the last one there. Looking over to his left he saw the bug boy, Spider Man. "Ahh,looks like your in charge of getting thing togeher this year kid. We've all done our time. I would help ya out but one I need a nap and a cup of coffee, and no one is allowed to help the new incomers."

Clint patted Spidey's back as he walked way and made his way towards the kitchen. Eye's buldging out, drool dripping from his lips, his nose hairs tingled with joy. Clint smiled as he saw the hot and fresh brewed pot of coffee. Getting a cup out of the cabnit Clint grabbed the pot and slowly poured the coffee into the mug. " Ahh my true love is back with me for the third time today or is it the fourth." He had a majior problem with be addicted with coffee but noone deared to take it away from him.

Drinking the coffee Clint looked down and didn't see his mug, he had finshed the coffee from the pot. Clint placed the empty pot back and retrieved his mug. Clint slowly drank his coffee savoring every last sip. as soon as he got done with his coffee Clint ran and hopped on the the couch. Currling up in a ball he started to doze off. " Yo, bugboy if you need anything or if anyone shows up and needs me, you'll no where I am." He softly said as he started to drool on the pillow.
