Ian laughed a little nervously when Yas said the boy seemed 'incapable'. He wasn't sure whether that was really a compliment or not."Yeah, like I told you earlier. I can take care of myself..." The boy lead the way out of the forest and saw barren land for awhile as the silhouette of the city was on the horizon.

As the group approached Tanuki City's outskirts, it was clear not many people would want to live in this place. The entire scenery looked like a million tornadoes and earthquakes hit or some strange apocalyptic conspiracy took place here. The building were old and tattered, broken glass and crashed vehicles scattered the streets and roads, power lines were down, and there was barely any sign of human, animal, or plant life.
The lack of flaura made Ian dissapointed. He was hoping the town would have had better terrain like in his home land. The boy walked along the cracked road and noticed some blood spatters. Clearly a bad sign of some accidents. He just ignored it though and thought maybe it was from a jogger falling or some other plausible explanation."H-hello?" Ian called out hoping that somebody might be able to assist the group in finding a place to stay or eat. A shadow slowly emerged from one of the alleys up ahead as what appeared to be a 'limping hobo' came slowly from the side of a building making low gurgling moans. "Finally! Somebody to help us." Ian said excitedly and ran up to the disfigured and disgusting looking man. The hobo had blood marks and wholes in his body and clothing. The boy slowed down when he got close to the man and recoiled at first at the sight, but then felt bad since it probably wasn't the man's fault he was homeless."Um.....excuse me sir. Would you happen to know of any places nearby we could rest and eat?" The man swiped a hand and stumbled when Ian asked the question and Ian stepped back a bit. I think this man may be drunk.... He thought watching the bloody hobo closely. The sounds of low gurgles and growls were coming from all directions in the streets now.

Theme Song: Future World Music-Voyage to AtlantisYas was surprised to see that from up close, the city looked devastated. Wow, something bad must have happened here. Yas shrugged it off, and thought this was probably a city that had just went through a natural disaster. "Watch where you step, lots of debris everywhere." The man looked around, and still it seemed kinda' deserted to him. Doesn't seem like there are any 'emergency' people here... He was right, seeing how littered the place was, he would have thought there would be sirens sounding in the distance, but there weren't.
It was then he saw Ian approach someone who seemed to be groaning and walking crookedly. "Ian, that guy could be sick or something. You don't want to catch what he's having." It was then that when the figure got closer that his eyes widened. No way... Does that guy have holes in him?! He looked towards Ian as the guy tried to swipe him, "Ian, there's something wrong with this guy. Is he... hurt?" Yas looked around as he saw figures coming out of corners, and hearing the sounds of dragging feet along the asphalt. Something tells me this place just ain't safe...
It was then that something from underneath a vehicle had grabbed his foot. "Agh!? Let go!" It was then that what he pulled out from under the vehicle, was the top-half of a corpse, except it was still alive somehow. "Wh-what the...!?" The corpse looked at him with drooling blood and was ready to bite until he kicked it off of him, and over the same vehicle it was underneath. "The heck was that?! That's not normal!"

As the straggling 'hobo' stumbled past Ian and the boy was getting suspicious, something had attacked Yas from underneath a vehicle. The kid turned to watch the man kick it far over the vehicle like a field goalie. Ian readied his whip to help defend himself and the others, but it seemed they were easily out-numbered. The two forest guardians suggested they should run, but where to? Ian slowly backed up, this time making sure not to trip over his whip, and looked around for a clearing. "Er, running doesn't sound too bad of an idea.....Maybe look for shelter too." The hoard of sickly blood covered people were approaching the group fast. Ian decided to climb the vehicle that was near Yas to gain higher ground. The boy looked up and saw a slightly tilted street lamp about a foot away from them behind some of the grotesque monster people.
He flung his whip at the lamp and the end wrapped around it tightly and the boy tugged to make sure the vine was secure. Sudden epic and upbeat Indiana Jones music began to play as he jumped and tried to swing himself over the z-nombie hoard. Unfortunately, Ian's whip didn't release when he swung over. Now he just dangled a little past the hoard a couple feet off the ground. Ian let out a disappointed sigh and tried loosening the rope with one hand. The strange sickly group of people drew their attention to him and began to leave an open gap for the others to go around.
"Y-yeah. A distraction, I totally meant to do this.... Run guys, while you can." The boy hollered at the other three as he continued to try to loosen the whip. It worked and the kid landed on his feet and nervously tried to walk around the group of enclosing attackers to join his allies. Ian hoped that one of the abandoned buildings nearby would serve as a safe place.

Isaac stood on top of a roof He hummed a solum tune to himself, a song his employer had said would scare his deader into speaking. His deader was a fat merchant who had come to try and kidnap what remaining survivors of Tanuki city had left.
The fat man sat on the ledge of the roof with a rope tied and secured around his ankles. Isaac held it firmly in in hand as he placed his boot against the merchant's chest, his entire body was covered in a cold sweat and he was covered in snot and tears.
"Last chance." Isaac said. The merchant looked down at a crowd of zombies that had formed in the street below. he looked back at Isaac and shook his head, he was too terrified to talk.
"Fine. See you next fall." He kicked the man off the roof, he let out a cry ao loud it echoed off the buildings. The rope finally tightened and he was left dangling just above the hands of he reaching zombies, Isaac leaned over he ledge and released the ripe slightly causing the merchant to have to shake to keep out of reach,
"Come on fat man, Where is your caravan? All i want is the irl. I'll let you go." The pun was lost to the merchant for the moment being.
The man yelled out the address of an old factory across the city, Isaac's suit captured his voice and stored the information. "Good, Thank you and like i said." He released the rope, letting the zombies feasts. "I'll let you go." |

Luna watched the living run in the opposite direction towards a warehouse. She wanted to follow but the crowd of un-dead made that nearly impossible. "Guess I have to find another way around..." She took off running in the opposite direction while the zombies were pre-occupied with the others, so she could come up to the warehouse from the rear and maybe find another way in. If they were any smart, they would have locked the door immediately sealing off entrances. She had her Katana, but that didn't do much against these guys, no some sort of gun would be needed if they hoped to make it out alive. Why she felt the need to stay here, was unknown, maybe she didn't want those other guys to come to a bad end, or maybe this whole ordeal seemed like a good, dangerous adventure to get involved in. She smirked and rounded the corner and almost ran into another hoard of zombies, feasting on a human. "Ewww, that's just gross!" But where had he come from? Luna looked up and saw a strange man suit. "Hey you! Up there!" She cupped her hand over her mouth, yelled, and then covered her mouth as the zombies had now turned to her. "Oh whoopsies!" She took off running again until she reached a low hanging ladder and jumped up and pulled herself up, and then puled the ladder the rest of the way up out of the zombies reach and began making her way up to the rooftop where she had seen the man. "Hey mister! Where are you!" Maybe he could offer her some help?
