Ahh, the infamous artist's block (though not as well-known as its close cousin, writer's block). I'm pretty sure that almost everyone has come across this problem, and I am currently in the middle of battling with it. I would like to know your methods of overcoming this issue at hand (and how to prevent it, maybe?).

For me overcoming artist's block is all about finding inspiration. Watch a movie, go take pictures. Play with your pets. Look at magazines, or art books.
The best thing for me is to move. I go from the table to the couch or the floor or my bed. Sometimes that isn't enough so I go somewhere else. Subway was one of my favorites because everyone left me alone (but I'm not close to one anymore). I like cafes as well, but you have to buy something every couple hours (common courtesy).
The weirdest thing I ever did to get over artist block was hiding in a closet. It worked for some odd reason.
